Here we go again, people giving these guys(first three picks) a redshirt year this is BS,
they should be of help right away and be productive in some sort of way. Hell the big cheese ArtII has
said in the past he wants to see these guys performing early in the careers, that should be motivation enough.

    From FTW NFL:

Always remember, Houston Texans fans booed JJ Watt's draft pick
Houston fans booed Watt’s selection with the 11th pick. They booed the best defensive player in the NFL. No, they didn’t just boo him, they booed the hell out of him.

Their Oline wasnt trash, injuries forced them to use bandaids most of their season and the chargers expect their starting lineup to be healthy this year, their starting LT king dunlap is healthy and fully expects to start 16 games this year like he did in 2014, heres an article addressing last years Oline injury problem:

    ESPN:
Ricky Henne of Chargers.com interviews San Diego Chargers left tackle King Dunlap and others from an offensive line that struggled to stay on the field last season.

Dunlap says an injury-plagued 2015 was an aberration and vows to stay healthy for the upcoming season.

After playing a full, 16-game season for the first time in his NFL career in 2014, Dunlap missed nine games in 2015 due to concussion and ankle issues. Dunlap has been diagnosed with four reported concussions since 2001.

“Last year sucked,” Dunlap said. “It was awful with all the injuries. Personally, I felt like I let a lot of people down missing all the games I did. I let the whole team down. The goal for me this year is to be healthy and stay healthy. The five of us who were starters only had a couple quarters together. We never got a change to get going, but we think we are going to get that chance this year.”

My take: The Chargers used six different starting line combinations and 24 overall last season, fourth most in the NFL. San Diego is betting the offensive line will stay healthy and the addition of offensive line coaches Jeff Davidson and Dave DeGuglielmo will help improve the overall performance of the guys up front.
