Would Fields be willing to be another Slash?

This is why I think Justin Fields will keep getting more and more snaps, as Mike Tomlin and Arthur Smith learn how to use a Slash type player in the offense.

You say QB Carousels don't work, but do you have any examples of teams that used a Slash type package that did not work? To me it is like the modern-day saga of starting Pitching in baseball. The old school way of thinking that your Starters pitch complete games is long gone, and now everyone believes in getting their bullpen in there to exploit the opposing teams' weaknesses. Having Justin Fields come out to exploit a team's weakness to pickup the 1st down or score a quick TD on a play here and there, could be the future of football. You could have both the pocket passing QB, and the athletic QB on your roster and use them both to win games... The Future is Now..:)

You saw the Stat, both Fields and Wilson have 11 trips inside the 10-yard line., Wilson has 4 TDS, while Fields has 8 TDs. Simple Question. Who do you think is better when it is goal-to-go?

Draft class is weak for QB next year. We would have a better shot rolling with Fields or Wilson than trying to develop a QB

The Saints manage it just fine with Taysom Hill.

Inagine if they are both in there at the same time. I think it would create a lot of problems for the defense.

Using him as slash worked quite well. Trying to turn him into a pocket passer not so much
