This is the most pathetic team I have seen in twenty plus years. They need to blow it up and start over. Unload a lot of the bad contracts. I get so sick of everyone still acting surprised when our defense gives up big plays. They have been doing it all year.

we haven’t had outside contain all year. Honestly what has Highsmith done for the past six weeks. He has been a disappointment this year. Ogunjobi needs to go. I have been saying it all year. Hoke finally called him out. Another bad contract for a below average veteran. Another one I’m getting sick of is G

The steelers need to wake up and have a true fire sale and a true rebuilding

I remember the bad 80s teams.

They were never this bad. I remember Cowher's bad years. They were never this bad. This is the worst team of my 50+ years as a fan.

The worst since the 6-10 team (was that 2004?). Larry O has been fine. Highsmith has disappeared. Where the hell are the exotic blitzes? No one can cover other than Porter so what's the point of dropping back into coverage?

Have to agree. As hard as it was to get use to after the 70's we experienced this is much worse.

100% spot on. As bad as we have been in my lifetime I don't really remember thinking, "Can we get a first down!"

Because our defense always played hard, all those years we just didn't have a great QB. This is way beyond that.

Mike Tomlin is going to hear a ton of sh!t next Saturday. Another 4:30 start so plenty of time to drink up. I can hear Jeh up there now after 4-5 beers, "Fire Cowher";)

The problem is none of the current coaches have a clue on how to fix this train wreck. We need new coaches from Big Mike needs to go and we need competent OC and DCs

Certainly a departure from Tom Landry on the sidelines in a jacket and tie. That might have been the first time I recall seeing an NFL head coach not having a shirt, jacket or hoodie that didn't have their team's logo on it.

I’ve been a Steeler fan since the mid 70’s. Even the Steeler teams since the that weren’t that great were still “Steeler teams”. This team is not a “Steeler team”.

Most of the mediocre and sometimes bad teams might have been talent deficient, but they always played hard. You might win the game, but you didn't want to play them next week. This team just seems soft to me.

It's not just that they aren't very good. But they are also very unlikable.

I've been a fan since the early 1960's and have seen some really bad teams like the 1-13 season in Chuck Noll's first year. But I have never seen a Steelers team just up and quit like this one.

Not too derail the thread but.. would like some help from one of the music listeners here!

What is this song being played at the intro of the Steel Curtain Network. Sorry but I am relatively new to this type of rock music.
