    Dreamcatcher. Great cast. Amazingly terrible.

But honestly for me it falls in the good bad movies category.

I only agree because I was fond of the book, and hated the ending in the Movie.
Like some way bad creature features ending, and I like creature features.

I didn't read that book, but I'm sure it was good! Love Stephen King, but there are so many of his books that have made not so good to terrible movies.

I thought I heard a Salem's Lot movie is coming soon....

Don't know about the new Salem's Lot movie, but you are correct...a lot of his books have been made into terrible movies.

Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd
    Any Adam Sandler movie
As Good As It Gets or Something's Gotta Give and most of movies in that genre lol
    Tremors
The Assistant (checked it out because I like her in Ozark)
    Every Hallmark Christmas movie
Next or Knowing, can't remember which one of these Nicolas Cage movies. The other one wasn't great either IIRC.
    Dodgeball
    Anchorman

I could go on, but I realize I'm probably pretty picky.

So bad. Maybe the biggest waste of money in the history of any movie studio.

I've watched several and can't stand the guy. I effin hate Bill Murray too. Both just grate on my nerves, like Elton John music.

Ben Stiller is another, hence my Dodgeball inclusion. There's Something About Mary was a good one though.

Unlike every other genre of movie, comedy is a love it or hate it with me. Not much of a middle ground. I'll suffer through some dramas or actions, but the bad comedy ones don't last too long.

Also ....Now this may just be me, but a lot of Comedies don't age well.
For instance last 3 days I been watching movies I Loved in my late teens, and the only ones that are not staying my favorites are the comedies.
    I'm like. I thought that was funny.

I enjoyed the two seasons of "Castle Rock" if you've ever seen those. But yea I agree, Stephen King movies can be very bad. Some exceptions like The Shining, Cujo, Shawshank, Misery, Stand by Me, Pet Sematary (original) and It. I guess when you're a prolific writer, half will be good and half bad.

His made-for-tv movies are usually on the bad side.

I watched an interview he said he use 2 get torn up about adaptations, but realized it didn't matter because good ,or Bad it brought more people 2 check his books out.
So now if someone wants 2 do something,
He said he basically says yes...no matter what.
    LoL

Can't blame him, I'm sure the $ is good. Not that he needs it.

I stopped buying and reading his books because of his political leanings but I liked the older stuff.

I don't even look into that.
Honestly I don't have an Idea of his political leanings.
I don't check on that stuff because I don't want 2 dislike people, Authors, and Musicians that I already like.

I don't actively look into it either, but its kinda hard to miss when he infuses it into the story you're reading.

Love all those movies except the Pet Semetary flicks. I didn't love it. The book scared the crap out of me.

The Stand is one of my favorite books of his, and to me those tv movies are unwatchable.
