Edmunds is the safety at the bottom of the screen. There is a deep receiver on his side of the field that was passed to him. That was his first priority.

Are you looking at the very last video on the article. Edmunds is the safety on the defensive left. Just on top the hashes.

Trading Brown did not save on cap space for 2018. You've got your information wrong there. That's part of why I've been so critical of the trade, because it came with a huge dead money hit.

Sorry, but that's crap. Just because some other teams made moves does not mean the Steelers had a trade available to them that could have gotten that player. You're assuming things that we just don't know.

Of course, you're also assuming player will be busts all of one game into their rookie seasons, so logic and reason don't seem to be part of the thought process here.

Did I say brown. We got back the money we franchised bell with, so my information is right. We got picks for brown. We will get a comp pick for bell.

That wasn't an offseason decision. Bell was gone the moment it became clear they couldn't franchise him again at that number. Lumping that decision in with this offseason doesn't really make sense.

It makes perfect sense when the OP was talking about losing bell and Brown and got little in return. Yes it does make sense when we used that money saved to sign free agents this year. Reading is fundamental.

You realize this thread was made after the draft and way before OTA's, right? About the only thing I was wrong about, I did think Snell would be better. But I was right in the fact it was a wasted pick with Conner and Samuels and we could have filled that need in FA. Another wasted pick we could have used to move up and get a better quality player in earlier rounds that could help right now like Metcalf.

They traded up to get Bush, and had no second round pick, so tell me how they were going to draft Greedy or DeAndre?

Thread fail, calling it the worst draft in years this early, Snell and Layne are expected to help in the future not now. Bush and Johnson will contribute this season.

So by the same logic, fail post for insisting otherwise when nothing you said is fact? Bush is the only guarantee from this draft which I said in the 1st post. Johnson has shown nothing. Snell could pan out but like I said in the 1st post this could have been addressed in FA. Layne has shown nothing and the Steelers track record of developing cb's coupled with the fact he's a WR playing CB for like 2 years. Not promising.

Your post assumes that the OP makes sense, which it does not. Reading is fundamental. Perhaps you should work on that skill. :)

So the Steelers weren't pumping up the ground breaking move of 10 spots by saying this would have never been possible if we didn't get fleeced for the best WR in the game? For comparison the Patriots gave up a 1st for Cooks. He had his worst year of his career and ended up getting a 1st back for him. He's not even a Top 5-10 WR. I'm lumping Bell in too because if managed correctly we should have got at least a 2nd in return for him. We don't even know if we are getting a comp pick in return for him not. Best case scenario is a 3rd next year.

Not only that, but clearly next years draft out does this one. What are they thinking drafting whoever they're going to draft in the 3rd round when they could've gotten him in the 5th? And their first round pick? He's a total bust already.

Shouldn't a the 3rd and 5th for AB now be considered the Steal of the draft; considering the Raiders return on their investment was absolutely nothing?
