Can you say Ridley without choking? That was the worst play call for so many reasons. I won't bore you all. You know the reasons. My question is how does a coach in his right mind with the season on the line call that play. And to think he gets paid to do so.

Terrible play calls, terrible refereeing & ill-timed fumbles have cost the Steelers more than 1 game & probably the season.

The play call wasn’t that terrible. The fumble was though. I would have preferred that we put it in Ben’s hands there.
I believe it was stated we were prepared to go for it on fourth down if we didn’t make it there.

Fake punt was pretty bad. On our own 42 with the season on the line up by 4. Head scratch moment for sure.

The call wasn't terrible itself but with the personnel it was. Ridley is a known fumbler and on top of that when he's in the game it's always a run. If he was prepared to go for it twice he should have put the ball in Ben's hands.......twice. Play action out of that formation and personnel would of been a much better call. It was a terrible decision not to trust Ben.

Needed two yards. Saw he’d have to bulldoze. Ridley went into that mass of humanity with the ball in one arm. Never covered it up.

No idea of the play call you're talking about, but I said earlier this year we should have cut Ridley and signed CJ Anderson. Ridley has never been a good RB. He was propped up by a good NE system. He hasn't done a single thing in his career since. CJ Anderson is the far superior talent and should have been the backup in case Connor went down (which obviously ended up happening). This franchise is far too complacent. A better talent was out there. There was no excuse to have Ridley on this team over CJA, none!

they should have called for the fake punt on 3rd down to really confuse them.

I asked for C.J. Anderson on here a month ago, and was laughed at...Played his 1st game last night for the Rams and had 169 yds. and a TD in 3 quarters...Boy, I'm sure he couldn't have helped in the Broncos, Chargers, or last nights games...Steven ****in Ridley...He who talked dhit on his old team the Cheats for casting him off...lmfao

The play call was awful. The Saints have the best run defense in the league. They had been getting great push inside all game. Ridley is a fourth-string back who shouldn't have been playing at all. At the same time, Roethlisberger was carving the Saints up. The ball needed to be in his hands, not Ridley's. You make the opponent beat your best.

It's almost as if Tomlin expected that to work like a trick play, thinking the defense would expect play action. That's just stupid.
