Damn! Morocco down 2-0 and time is running out. They really made some amazing passes and moves at the start of second half but couldn't get anything to work.

I guess I'll root for this side of the Atlantic Sunday.

Sure hope I'm able body to go see them in 2026. I would assume the bigger games will be in South America but I think early stages are in USA.

 

Estadio Azteca would have some big games, I imagine

Okay. Drinking game! Every time the announcers gush about how much Messi deserves it and how much he means to the game, you take a thimbleful of tequila. You'll be drunk by halftime! Bonus: you have to chug the whole bottle if Messi brings up that cheating, "hand of God" cocaine addict Maradona at any point!

 

Damn, I wanted it close the whole game. Argentina up 2-0 but no doubt it will be fun watching France in the second half.

 

France scores on penalty kick. 2-1 with about 15 left. Still say these players fake it and take dives.

 

Holy Cow!!!!! France ties the game. Never thought it would happen. This should be awesome.

 

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both teams had amazing shots to win it but their goalies made amazing saves. Messi shot was a frigging bullet that would have taken my head off but Frances net minder made an incredible save.

On to those 15 minute periods. This game deserves to be won by a real goal not those kicks where it all comes down to the goalie getting lucky and guessing right.

 

I haven't been watching. I figured they would just hand it to "MESSI"!!!

Congrats Argentina!!!!!!! Not big on Soccer but hands down best game I ever watched. Goal tending was off the charts!!

Still say Soccer players take dives. I sure the hell didn't see the penalty that let France tie it.

 

the ref called a dive on France, gave the guy a yellow. I like that they review things and use technology but it is a tough sport to officiate
