Someone is seriously loosing their marbles or doesn’t have them

I see my tax dollars going to support him

A steady job is out of the question

    Lack of logic

    Unable to think for himself

Lack of caring how his lack of ability to think is perceived

Failure to remotely use proper English

A formula for failure in life

Do you even use your brain at all when you type this nonsense? Your claim is that since Sanders said the flaw in his game didn't matter, then it didn't matter. How do you not realize how stupid that argument is?

You made the claim first. Prove it. Prove you actually watched 20 or 30 full games with Sanders playing.

Your hero worship just makes your arguments even weaker.

Nobody ever questioned his ability to promote himself. In fact, it is one of the reasons so many people are trying to tell you that he was overrated.

I used to hang out with Walt Sweeney, Bob Babich (college HOF) and Lance Alworth (NFL HOF). does that make my opinion better than anyone else's? Of course not, just different.

So then there's no best to play the postion? No one can be recognized as that since you said when two people are good, deciding between who's better between those 2 is amtrer of opinion. Wow so I guess ben was just as good as Brady then.

Not only that. I said because he's recognized by a good number of people with far more credentials than anyone on this board in terms of football as the best who ever did it then they are also acknowledging the insignificance of tackling at cb. How can the best ever literally be maybe the worst ever at an "important" part of playing his said position? And the fact he said it openly that he didnt get paid to tackle and people still celebrate him proves it didn't matter.

That's not something I have to prove occularly. What am I going to go in my brain and pullout in my cerebellum the memories of me watching game tapes of deion sanders?

And your neurotic view of your football "knowledge" and thinking you as pencil pusher know more than coaches, gms, former players both good and bad, analysts, aficnados, etc.. just completely strip any spec or credibility with anything you say about football.

And if self promotion is the key why doesn't all the most self promoted players ever at their respective positions get called the bets ever? T.O self promoted himself 1000x more than Jerry Rice so why isn't he called better than rice if self promotion is playing such a role in why deion is called by most the best ever?

You hung out with them. You didn't coach them in the nfl, scout for their teams in the nfl, get paid by anyone of note to talk to about them or football, nor of course did you play in the nfl with them. Knowing them means nothing. I'm not going to go consult Michael Jordan's kids on basketball just cause he's their dad.

No, it really doesn't. It proves that anybody with half a brain ignores pretty much anything that comes out of his mouth. Anybody who understands Sanders for what he is realizes that his entire focus is self-promotion. Anybody who praises him does so in spite of that ridiculous comment. I'm sorry that you are too inept in critical thinking to understand that.

Please don't use words you don't understand, such as neurotic, which you just used incorrectly. It makes you look even dumber, which is quite an accomplishment at this point.

Yes, I actually do know more about football than some current and former players. So do many of the people on this board. The ability to do a thing does not always constitute the ability to understand a thing.

I never said Sanders was all self-promotion. He was a great player, one of the best corners I've ever seen, but the self-promotion is what fools ignorant nobodies like you into worshipping him.

    You contradicted yourself.
So I guess over half of the nfl world thinks he doesn't have half a brain cause he had multiple commentator jobs, multiple people invite him on their show for his opinion, and a school hired him as THEIR COACH and it has thus far been proven to be more then just for publicity because they've been really good since he's arrived.

He gets commentator jobs because he is a good self-promoter and he is entertaining, not because he is knowledgable. You do realize that many of the former players in the booth get there due to name recognition, not knowledge, right?

So no, I didn't contradict myself.
