Ok, time to see who gets it right. This draft could really go a number of ways, and there will be a lot of solid talent to pick from. I don't see us trading up unless Vic B drops below 10 ( don't see it but you never know) and I could see us trading down to snag an extra 3rd. Guess we will see. Ok, I was right last year so my 1st round pick for 2015- Eric Rowe. He's projected to be a high 2nd round pick, and we can't let him pass us at 22 because he won't be around past 35. ( I like M Peters too, so I won't be upset if its him.) anyway , it's Rowe for me.......

Anyone think they should take Gregory to make Jarvis look bulky by contrast?

Kevin Johnson a clean pick, then an OLB back to the CB then on to safety, then to RB, then TE and OT

Want - trade back a few spots and take Rowe or PJ Williams

Predict - Marcus Peters (I hope they've vetted him thoroughly)

Please no - any of the safeties

It's interesting how many mocks I see that are tying us to Byron Jones. However, if you look at the expanded list of players that Mac posted on Page 5 of the pre-draft visit thread, Jones is one of the very few 1st - 3rd round corner prospects that the team has not been linked to via a visit, pro day or combine interview. In the pre-draft presser, Colbert said that it's "Rare" for them to draft any player that they haven't interviewed.

Actually hoping for a move back..... if a RB drops, and Dallas is hungry enough..... maybe just maybe move back a little to pick up an extra lottery ticket chance. I also think that CB Peters might be gone at our pick and some OLB prospect might slip to us. I think we go rushing OLB first and CB second.

Since the Steelers brought in Gregory late, I think they might shock everyone and take him in rnd 1, So im gona go out on a limb and pick Gregory, , but if Johnson or Peters is the pick I would be happy with either.

I'll go Gregory. I think we will be considering Johnson, Peters, and L. Collins (SS) as well. Any of those guys are guys I see as possibilities if we stay put at 22.

    I am thinking...

1st round DB...my preference is Peters, but that is my preference. My guess is Johnson if he is there.

    2 - Nate Orchard
    3 - Doran Grant
    4 - Jeff Heuerman
    5 - Adrian Amos
    6 - Matt Jones
    6b - Quinton Spain
    7 - Tavarus Dantzler

    This is my mock/hope board

He's not worth drafting at 22, did he answer these questions?

WEAKNESSES: Clearly must answer questions surrounding his dismissal from the Washington football team on Nov. 6 following repeated clashes with the coaching staff. Was ejected from one game early in 2014 and rubbed some the wrong way when he was seen laughing on the sideline toward the end of a blowout loss to Oregon.
Not as smooth in coverage as former Husky Desmond Trufant, who went to the Atlanta Falcons at No. 22 overall two years ago. He can get too grabby downfield and has struggled with inconsistency, playing to the level of his opponent.

    BOOM! I like it.

KJ is polished and a hard worker. Fits the Steeler mold. Maybe not as much upside as other CBs, but he is a lot less risky. I fully support another corner in round 3 too. Throw enough darts, and maybe we can finally shore up a weak spot on our team.

Just a quick question don't the Steelers usually pick players in the 1st round that they meet with? if that's the case then it is down to these guys:

CB's Jalen Collins, K. Johnson & Peters, Landon Collins SS, OLB's Gregory, Harold, Orchard & Ray and Wr's Parker & Perriman

So out of them guys I feel WR is not going to be picked in the 1st round. I also feel that because of off field problems you can take Peter, gregory and Ray off the board. Now if you believe the "experts" they say the Steelers are going DB in the 1st so that leaves Collins, Collins and Johnson. I fell with what I have been reading in the mocks KJ will be gone so my guess for our pick is..........

Collins.......and I am not saying which one so I have 2 chances at being right. lol

    Let's draft already
