The thought of drafting Graham Barton is growing on me. I also think this will be the selection. Not a sexy pick, but it fills a need. There should be some good reciever options in the 2nd.

Barton fills the OL need because of versatility. He’s still only going to play 1 position. I think he’ll be ‘in competition’ with Herbig for the Center job. If selected.

I see a lot of those Mock Draft thingies having us taking:
#20 - Mims (with Jackson Powers-Johnson on the board)
    #51 - CB (various)

Not sure I agree with those.

if Mims is there, I like this.

THEN - MOVE UP and Grab JPJ!

give up 1 of those #3's?

    what do you think?

    CB and WR later
WR - still want a mature VET and I think something is in the works, I guess we will see.....

    Then DL and secondary help......

I'm warming on Barton, but the draft could go many different directions, the Cardinals are really in an interesting place, then have a ton of picks and could move down early from 4, stay and move up from their late position in the 20's. Have 3 3rd down picks, if the guys they like are there I could see Omar moving down, swapping 2nds in a move up in that round, and maybe getting a 3rd as well. It really depends on if there is a panic run on particular position and someone drops. Several CB's,OL, and WR's could get in a log jam if QB's go 1-4, or in the top 6. Going to be an interesting night for sure.

I think its Barton or Mims. If they can get Aiyuk via trade they may go Mims or Fugal if one of them are there and move up in the second to get Frazier. Not sure how they would pull it all off unless the 2nd for Aiyuk is next years second.

I think it will be Mims, if not Barton.

Maybe they take Barton, then move up a bit for Mims if he falls a bit with their second pick.

There's no planet where we get Aiyuk for a second. Absolute minimum would be this years and next years second, probably a first. This isn't a 29 year old with a bad attitude and a $29 million contract that desperately wanted out of Buffalo, this is a 24 year old on a cheap deal this year at the peak of his career.

Thats a valid point. With that being said I do not want the guy. I would much rather take a chance on drafting a WR in the second round, draft Graham Barton in the first and live with Dan Moore Jr. for another year.

The more I hear about Mims even though it is a premier position verses Center I think you go with the perceived safer bet in Barton at Center.

He didn't come visit the team as one of the 30 players, and Tomlin/Khan didn't attend his pro day.
