I'd be on the phone calling Brett Favre. He said before the season started, that he'd come back and help a team if needed and he's in great shape. He'd fit us perfectly. Better than what we have.
I'd rather see mettenberger play over landry, but we know that ain't gonna happen.

How about they just forfeit the game? The chances of this team winning against the Patriots with Ben were slim due to this defense. Without him they're almost non-existent. At least if they forfeit they (hopefully) won't lose any more players to injury.

Only problem with this is Bey can't catch. But he can run in screens, better then Coats. Bryant was great at running after screens.

The horrible thing about Ben being injured... it usually takes him 1 or 2 games to get back to normal. So even if he does return vs. the Ravens... he will be rusty and inconsistent. Plus, it doesn't help that the Ravens game is at Baltimore. Steelers are terrible on the road. The Redskins game was an anomaly.

Strap a saddle on Bell and ride him till he drops.... then pound some DW and call it a day. Brady will only touch the ball for 10 minutes or less. I'd like to see ZERO pass attempts from Landry.

I think they need to make DWill the featured back and only line up Bell as WR. Go 5 wide all 1st half. Get Bell lined up on a linbebacker. Coates deep. AB running the tree. Give Landry quick easy reads from shotgun. Dink and dump them to death like they are going to do us. Everybody expects run with back-up QB and after not running last week. Belicheat will make half time adjustments. Depending on the score then hit them with the run game.

I'm quite sure that Mettenberger isn't the starter because he doesn't know that playbook well enough yet, but good Lord, Jones just flat out sucks and I have ZERO confidence in him throwing less than 3 ints on Sunday!!!!

You mean hit them with the same run game like against the Dolphins where Bell averaged 5.3 ypc and only had 10 touches??? That is horrible play calling by Haley!

Yeah, I mean like actually run the ball when they don't expect it. Patriots got a good d-line. If they come out running like everybody wants and the Patriots expect it will get shutdown. Then it forces Landry into throwing situations and they know it and interceptions. Seen this game too many times. Do something different they won't expect. Go 5 wide all 1st half.

Hey, I admit that Boyd makes Deon Sanders seem like a humble guy, but a certain amount of confidence is necessary sometimes. It ain't all bad, but you know that the naysayers will point to what happened in Greenville S.C. recently as an "i told you so moment".

Melvin Gordon? Did somebody mention Melvin Gordon? Do you mean the Melvin Gordon who plays RB for the San Diego Chargers?
Oh, you did mean that one!!!

Well, lets look at Melvin Gordon and the San Diego Chargers, shall we?

GUESS WHO HAS THE LOWEST RANKED OFFENSIVE LINE IN THE NFL? #32 OUT OF 32.?
THE SAN DIEGO CHARGERS, THAT'S WHO!
THE CHARGERS ARE RANKED #32 PASS BLOCKING, AND #31 RUN BLOCKING.

The Steeler O Line is ranked #10.
