I know you're saying something, but I'm having a hard time focusing.

It's not about how our defense plays. We've had top three defenses get embarrassed by Brady. It's not about how our defense plays.

Our offense will win this game if it can bail out the defense.

The NFL just released the new alternate referee jerseys they are sampling for this Sunday's game....

I understand the math. All I'm saying is your thread title is false. If we beat New England we're not guaranteed the 1 seed and that's fact.

Despite what happened earlier in the year, are you seriously suggesting you'd rather face Brady than Bortles in a playoff game? Losing to Bortles would be as inconceivable as losing to David Garrard....oh, wait a minute :hmm:

We didn’t lose to Bortles last time though. We beat ourselves at times and we’re completely dominated by rookie running back and a defence that caused us all sorts of problems.

Losing to a team with a better QB won’t soften the blow. It’s still a loss

Here's my question: Steelers beat Pats & Texans. # 1 seed is guaranteed. Do you rest starters against a potentially 0-15 Browns team? risking the embarassement of being their only win. Or do you play starters and ensure that inept franchise goes 0-16?

Landry Jones can beat the Browns with Connor at RB and JuJu as #1 WR.

Assuming we end up the #1 seed, you let your players who are nursing injuries heal up and play the ones who are healthy for a half.

AFC Championship January '95. Worst defeat of a Steelers team in franchise history, IMO. This loss was worse than SBXXX, SBXLV and the Tebow debacle, in my opinion. I don't think there's ever been a more devastating defeat in NFL history besides the Falcons choke job vs. Patriots.

The Steelers should have wiped the floor with Chargers that day and failed miserably. The '94 Chargers are the worst team to ever make it to the Super Bowl, IMO. I still cringe to this day when I think about that game.

On a completely different topic, when are you going to change your avatar? It hardly seems appropriate these days.
