I've seen that but it's not definite. That's why I think if they come close but fall short, he'd be back.

He's much more likely to retire if they win it all, IMO.

I don't disagree that it is a hit or miss but if you don't draft one you are never gonna hit, kinda like the lottery......... you can't win it if your not in it. One pick isn't gonna hurt this team and I have no problem with them drafting a QB especially if Landry isn't coming back. I want a young QB so that after Ben wins his 3rd ring he can teach the next man in line who will take over for him. IMO with QB being the most important position on the field I have no problem taking a QB every year for the next few years and maybe we find the heir Big Ben. jmo

With video showing no assault took place, I doubt they get rid of him.

Would love to get Greene in here though, maybe give Porter a different responsibility.

I like your thinking on the shotgun approach for any other position.. But for QB, I would not take one in this upcoming draft. I would shoot for the moon on the 2018 draft though. The 2017 draft could be used as a stepping stone in doing so. By this I mean trading down and getting some extra picks so we can have a nice apple to dangle in front of some team in 2018. I would be fine with a 1yr deal on LJ and him and ZM battling it out next year.

I would utilize our #1 and #2 but trade our #3 this year to accumulate picks for 2018. See what you have and move up from there in 2018. We would be without a #3 and #6 (Gilbert) this year but may put us in striking distance for a top tier QB in rnd 1 for 2018 after packaging some picks.

NEVER HAPPEN. Doesn't have the connection with all players
that is needed of a HC. By the way can Todd please trim and color that
ugly beard he is sporting. Looks terrible and makes the team look terrible.
Not to professional looking c'mon Rooney's lets tighten it up.

I get what your saying but I have no problem drafting a QB, I haven't started looking at QB's coming out but I am sure there are more then a few that COULD turn out to be good putin the right place with the right training. Every year people say oh this class ain't good or this position isn't deep. However the thing is more about where a prospect ends up and how they develop at the next level, we see it every year. jmo
