I think that there might be a bit here and there that improve, but things would largely be the same. Have to have the run game / O line, the receivers and a good game plan. None of that is there now and it would not miraculously appear with a new QB. We have to many areas of failure right now for anyone to succeed at a high level IMO.

I don't think the Rams ever really wanted to trade Stafford. They were keeping their options open in case they couldn't work out that extension with him. It's easy to say they were in on him when they don't actually have to make a deal.

Darnold would have been the right option, but only if they kept Pickens.

According to Adam Schefter interview on Unsportsmanlike, the Steelers were very much in on a trade for Stafford. As were other teams. I'm not saying that from personal insider knowledge.

Wilson couldn't see the middle of the field very well because of his height, and maybe we didnt have the OL to open up passing lanes for him. with AR there really is no excuse not to go there.
