Offensive line and defensive line have guys that can. Who else? TJ? It will be year 3 for him. We need this more than ever. Team meeting players only?

I think once we get rid of the headaches this team will bond together.

Right now, JuJu might be the next great Steelers ambassador. Actually, not might, will be. And that is a good feeling. JuJu is everything and all things that exemplifies Steelers football. From his play, leadership and off the field representation.

As long as Tomlin is coaching this team there will be no players held accountable and it's unlikely players themselves step into that roll. There may be some that step up but it will fall on deaf ears. JMHO.

Nobody is going to challenge Big Ben. Everything runs through him, not only on the field, but off as well. It would take someone like Pouncey and Heyward in a joint effort to tell him to cool it. I don’t see it happening.

We have young leaders waiting (Juju and Conner) (Watt and Davis) but we need the old king to die first.

This is Ben’s team for better or worse until he retires.

Cam Heyward is the only player that cares, and is a true team leader.

Still Ben's team. He has produced many great moments for us. I appreciate it but I'm ready to start anew.

Like Steel Machine stated, this is still Ben's team. He has the biggest voice overall; metaphorically and literally. Issue is, he really needs to apply that more often in a way that can not only be reciprocated within the lockeroom but galvanize it as well.

2019 may be his last chance to do so with the current corps of players. Within that same vein, 2019 is also imperative for his heir apparent the same. Mason HAS to show improvement in year two via the preseason. If not, that will not bode well for any of us.

Absolutely spot on. It's extremely difficult tor team leadership to develop and hold players accountable when the HC doesn't do so himself. No one will have the team leaders back and will make them look bad when trying to do whats right. This doesn't foster and environment for a few players to step us and take this role.
