I agree He was a good HC, and terrible GM.

Honestly, I'm prepping for the, imo very real, possibility that the Steelers don't win more than 3 games this season, so...let's not get ahead of ourselves about whether or not Tomlin will ever win again in the postseason. If he does (which I doubt), it almost certainly won't be this season. The day that Tomlin is finally oustered from this long declining franchise can not possibly come soon enough, seeing as how the decline is largely as the result of his "leadership".

We really need a 5-12 or 4-13 season to get a franchise QB. The last losing season we had yielded Ben. Playing 9-8 ball gets you a #20 or so pick, most franchise QBs are gone (unless you get extremely lucky).

No, we won't sniff the play-offs this season, schedule is too tough and offense too young.

It will be the time to have a fire sale if the steelers have a 9-8 type season again this year or worse

We need a top 5 pick to get a franchise QB. The 9-8 seasons are killing us drafting a QB.

True and we need the QB to be in a good situation and his talent to be well developed....I still predict the worst case scenario for the steelers....9-8 and with no playoffs and a blowout loss in the wild card round

I’m not starting a fight. Just pointing out the foolishness of your comment. Y’all make these statements of fact about people you’ve never spoken to etc.

It doesn't take a genius to know that he was arrogant when he often had feuds with people in the organization in Houston and he asked to have too much power despite having been only slightly above .500....It's not just me, it's the media and Houston fans who have said that in the past

And when he was OC with the pats over 10 years ago, he had the stupidity to yell at Brady on the sideline...Tell me again I am foolish....

Oh lord the fans and media said something. How dare he yell at a player on sideline! A coach never does that.

    yeah foolishness

You have the right to not believe the reporter if you want but don't start a fight over it

Some I trust, others I don't.It depends on their credibility. If I don't know who the reporter is, I ask others who know him if he is credible or not on Twitter or elsewhere

I don't think the Steelers will win another playoff game until the 2030's.

    The 20's = 80's

Actually, the 80's were better.... Steelers won a few playoff games in the 80's.

This would be more correct: 20's = 60's

Things can change quickly too...Just look at Houston, their future was very dark in 2022,but now they have a true young franchise QB and a very good young head coach, they won a playoff game last year and the sky is the limit for them this year!

Maybe 1-2 very bad years with a true rebuilding can be a great thing...That's why I wouldn't be against trading Watt after this year if the steelers are stuck in the middle again this season

Steelers would have to tank at some point with 5 or less win season to get a top QB. College crop of QB in '25 is subpar like in '22.

What I love now are all the geniuses that argue it's fixed because there is so much revenue due to gambling, and don't realize they are arguing against themselves. The quickest way to ensure no one gambles anymore is to have any legitimate evidence come out that games are being fixed.
