Derek John Watt. Ever wondered why he wasn’t referred to as DJ Watt? Could have been an All Pro had people called him DJ

CBS Sports just recently posted an article that TJ is the most chipped player in the entire league. Even when he’s not productive in sacks he’s at a minimum causing hurries and enabling our other linebackers to cause disruption. I find it amazing that so many here think he should be traded. It’s absurd.

And for those of you that can’t seem to grasp football, anytime a defensive player is being double teamed and/or chipped…he’s automatically valuable bc it opens up opportunities for other defensive players.

One quick analogy using offense as a (defensive) example. We all remember how great AB was. Anyway, Ju Ju Smith Schuster was only good whenever Antonio Brown was playing. Let’s not forget how much he stunk when AB wasn’t playing. AB was always being doubled which was why Ju Ju was able to get open, thus becoming an offensive factor. The minute AB was out Ju Ju became irrelevant. Same applies to TJ Watt.

You can’t discount the nuances of a TJ Watt making the likes of a Highsmith, Herbig or others all the better just bc he’s not tangibly involved in every play. WATT STILL MATTERS !!

I think his team sources actually feed Dulac misinformation just to see how much of a fool he makes himself with his prognostications. Probably some real locker room LOLs.
And if he doesn't have a source, he just makes stuff up to see what runs.

It's not just sacks that Watt brings to the defense. Consider that the Steelers defense is #1 in the NFL in % of drives ending in an offensive turnover. This is really what it's all about,... get the ball back in the offense's hands.

I have a post that I broke down the last two games, and He was doubled, or tripled 30 times at least in the last two games added together. I'd have to look at my post to say exactly how many each game....I was like 17 VS Cincinnati, and 13, or 14 vs Browns.
