I wouldn’t blame TJ for leaving but where is he realistically going to go? Most of the contenders wouldn’t be able to take on his deal and a lateral move would be pointless.

They are building a solid roster IMO but they’re not going to be contenders this year and they’re probably going to draft a rookie QB again next year so 2026 is a wash as well.

TJ must be looking at the QB situation and wondering if he has wasted his career. He could very easily finish his career without a playoff win.

The cap is derived from the shared revenue across the league, which is comprised of national media deals, league-wide sponsorships and licenses, and about 34% of the ticket sales of each game. Of that amount, 48.8% goes to the players. Divide by 32 and you get each team's base cap allocation for the year.

The local revenue - remaining 66% of the gate, local sponsorships, concessions, parking, all luxury box sales, etc. - is not shared and goes to the owner of the home team for each game.

which he then buys duct tape with to fix the facilities. they could also use it for the upgrade in the day care room. at least they know where those kids are during the game. :smiley1::cool:

He will stay if He wants, and leave if he doesn't. Simple.
I Love the Guy , but He won't be even close to the only great player we had that didn't win a SB.

He has done a lot for the Franchise, but after game 8 he didn’t show up to be honest. Tired at the end of the games on the sideline breathing heavy or injured. Now in defense of him if we had a an offense maybe the defense wouldn’t have to win every game and play the majority of the game. Plus if we had a Head Coach that didn’t have a style of hanging on for a win and going conservative the entire second half maybe things would be different. We need a Franchise QB more than a game changing Defensive end. The style of the league has changed unfortunately our team and head coach have not and this is why we are in the situation that we are.

could it become the sawyer, herbig show down the road? i could see a scenario of us losing him and then getting rid of minkah next year too. about 17 mil. cap savings for minkah at that point with about 114 million in cap space. you cut a couple of more guys like cam and queen and johnston and we could be nearing the 150 million mark.

just spit balling here. porter, warren will need signed. maybe they will be watching castro and thornhill as replacements for minkah and elliott. they could need a QB, corner, OG, safety, WR, OT? thornhill would have to be re-signed. maybe elliott. moon as the main backup at OLB. free agency is a possibility and we have a lot of draft capital. could we be seeing a big shift in personnel by next season?
