    Why some UBS and not others? Easy, some guys are all-pros, some guys are marginal. JH and Ben stay, Rainey and Cedric Wilson go. It's that simple, but I don't understand Ta'amu. He's a 4th rounder, can't get eligible for a game, why is he worth the trouble? I hear the nonsense that you have to let legal system play out, let the facts emerge..... Really? Does someone seriously want to tell me the didn't do what was reported? That the cops made it all up? For Ta'amu even the best possible explanation would still be very,very bad.

    Ta'amu had a previous DUI while in college, it was widely reported at the time of his recent one.

    Straw that broke the camels back. I think they are sick of so many players getting into trouble on this team. Also, fair or not, I think Ta'amus ceiling is much higher then Rainey's. There were also several other incidences leading up to Raineys recent trouble, don't think that didn't play into it.

    I'm pretty sure if someone paid me millions/year to play a game I would be blazing blunts with sorority girls, bashing paper towel dispensers while running from the cops slapping everyone around with a gun in my pants jacked up on steroids and tweeting the whole thing live.

    I do know that, that is why I mentioned in the thread
    IF YOU CAN PLAY. Hell I can go way back to Arrowhead Holmes shooting
    the State Police Helicopter up in Ystown Oh. I guess is what I was trying
    to say is the Steelers are no different than any other team in the NFL,
    If you can play, THEY WILL KEEP YOU. SO LETS NOT MAKE THE
    STEELERS OUT TO BE ALTER BOYS. THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE BENGALS.
    SO WOULD YOU SAY THAT THE STEELERS OPERATE ON A DOUBLE STANDARD?
    Keep the ones that can PLAY and vanish the ones that can not. Is this Hypocritica?l

    So Holmes couldn't play? The difference is Wilson Rainey etc were all multiple offenders the others were one time offenders
