Will the Steelers now draft a QB next month

i think he is the only one they met with. the only one i have seen. i would be OK with this.

 

I don't see them doing anything with Kyle Allen on the roster, and now with the new league rule that your emergency 3rd string game day QB can come from your practice squad every week; I don't think any team is going to keep more than 2 QBs on their 53 man roster, and 1 QB on their practice squad.

 

Can practice squad players still get poached during the season?

This will be the first year that your 3rd QB can be on the Practice Squad, They will still be carrying 3 QBs on their Roster: 2 from the 53 and 1 from the PS.

The team can protect 4 players on the practice squad, and elevating a QB up to be your 3rd string QB, does not count against your PS elevations, so that QB can be elevated every game.
