I hope we give our younger guys a chance to play. We need to be cheap somewhere, so plug in Wheaton, Moye and J. Brown, and let A. Brown, Bell carry our offense. Burress will cost too much and not provide enough return.

I don't think we keep him. At what? 36 years old. We need the youth movement to start. Get those young guys in there and see what they can do.

Have mixed feeling about Sanders but Cotch is almost a must have. Plex is finished Im afraid, even if he took the minimum. They wouldnt pay Ward, dont think they ll pay Plex.

Wheaton replaces Sanders. Cotchery needs to be signed. Moye needs more reps, was inactive most of the season.

    Plex. Bye Bye.

He's on the sideline weekly. I don't see a guy who's on IR hanging around the team every week if he doesn't have some kind of assurance he'll at least have an opportunity to compete for a job next year. He was a one year deal right?

TTF I do think Plax is Thankful that we (Rooney's) gave him a chance to be back. I HOPE he plays for cheap next year and we win the Superbowl and Plax makes a TD Grab then retires.

According to Burress he will be back next year. He answered it as if he already knew he would be back.

    I see it like this:

Competition is needed. Plax's experience will help provide that, but his inability to play special teams hurts him.

Now that being said, I see things this way:

    1. Cotchery is back
    2. Sanders is gone
    3. Moye and J. Brown are back
    4. Plaxico is back
    5. 1 WR draft pick
    6. 2 or 3 UDFAs are brought in.
    7. Wheaton and A. Brown are givens

    A. Brown, Cotchery, and Wheaton are givens to make team. If the draft pick is top 2 rounds, he makes the team as well. So, J. Brown, Moye, Plaxico, 2-3 UDFAs, and a draft pick are all given shots at making the team from the 1 or 2 spots we have open.

Plaxico brings experience and you hope the ability to teach guys like J. Brown and Moye (maybe also a draft pick) lessons about the league.

He may want to, or at least he might be telling a few people on Twitter he is, but it really doesn't mean anything.
