Plax is a serious weapon esp in the Redzone and on 3rd. down conversions, he does add a new dimension to our current make up at that position...

I was just having fun with ya, MWMY. I believe he enjoys a good scotch though, so it shouldn't be too hard to make good on your debt... :clapping: :lolol:

    Plax in the Burgh.

Pros: Ben Loves him (they have/had great chemistry), he would immediately be our best red zone target, he would immediately be, at least, our fourth or fifth-best receiver

    Cons: Character concerns

Again, character issues and ignorance can be resolved with education.

    You can't fix stupid.

I'm all for it. Character Issues would be an after thought. The guy did his time, came back and did good for himself. He had 8 TD's last year and no character issues. No character issues both seasons he has been back in the league. He would be the best answer considering the repore he has with Ben. A big factor would be the Tomlin effect! Infect, Plax worked a football camp with Coach Tomlin this past summer in Tomlin's home town. He came all the way up from Florida to work the camp. I would say Tomlin had some type of conversation with Plax about coming back.

I say if Wallace doesn't hurry up and come back and now of the other WR's pass the big three really light camp up, its time to bring Plax back. He is defenently a better talent then any of our WR's pass the big three!

The more I am hearing that none of the receivers past AB, Sanders and Cotch are doing anything the more I am liking the idea of taking a serious look at Burress. Even if Wallace comes back, we are only a single injury away from only having 3 reliable receivers. I heard he is willing to play for the Vet min so why not?

They worked him out Sunday. But reports on ESPN say that the Patriots have decided not to issue Plax an offer.

If the Pats have already worked him out, we better get to it. I would hate to see Plax in New England playing against us in the playoffs!

Sorry but the Steelers are not going to be working him out. The word here in Pittsburgh is that the Steelers are not interested in bringing him back.
