I sure hope so, the league needs to send a message to these punks
that they are not bigger than the game. He is a dick, bush league.

I can't believe he wasn't ejected for that. One of the dirtiest, most egregious cheap shots I've seen in football in as long as I can remember.

Should be but, I think he might be in the Tom Brady category of untouchables. "He makes great one-handed catches and everyone says he's a nice guy, so................."

Good, glad he got the suspension. That was a thug move and it was clearly his intent to cause hurt.

Overrated Beckham Jr is a punk. That kid couldn't hold AB's cleats for him. He got what he deserved and kudos to the league for finally straightening out these diva thugs. OBJ is nothing but a little fantasy stud that can't run all the routes, drops easy passes, and is nothing but media hype. I've watched multiple games this year where he just scored because of busted coverages. Most of his yards yesterday came from one play where he had like 35yds. He wound up with I think 76 on 6 catches over all. AB had 10 more catches and over twice the yards and twice the td's against a premiere corner. Get a clue kid. You're nothing but media hype and only fantasy fanboys really think you're all that. Be a well rounded player and we'll talk.

I think we fuze this with the write up from NFL.com and make a much more entertaining scouting report:

    OVERVIEW

Father, Odell Sr., was a running back for the Tigers (1989-92) and mother, Heather Van Norman, was an LSU All-American and national champion in track (1991-93). Odell Jr. was an all-purpose standout as a Louisiana prep. As a true freshman in 2011 (wore jersey No. 33), played all 14 games (11 starts at "Z" receiver) and recorded 41 receptions for 475 yards (11.6-yard average) and two touchdowns. Started 12-of-13 games at the "Z" in '12 (team opened with extra tight end against Arkansas), tallying 43-713-2 (16.6). Was the Paul Hornung Award winner as the nation's most versatile player in '13 when he broke the LSU single-season all-purpose yards record (2,315) and snagged 59-1,152-8 (19.5) in 13 starts at "X" receiver. Also returned 68 career punts for 557 yards (8.2), including two scores, and 42 kickoffs for 1,044 yards (24.9).

    STRENGTHS

Quick hands and feet to slip the jam. Fluid and fast. Good balance. Sinks his hips and changes gears to create separation. Quick hands to pluck off his frame. Terrific leaping ability -- climbs the ladder to snatch throws. Creates after the catch -- shows burst and shiftiness as a runner. Has playmaking ability. Confident and competitive. Has kickoff- and punt-return experience. Productive three-year starter.

    WEAKNESSES

Is a punk. A kid that can't hold the cleats of pros like Antonio Brown of the Steelers. Apt to meet harsh reality of a league that is finally straightening out diva thugs. Nothing but a little fantasy stud that can't run all the routes, drops easy passes, and is nothing but media hype. One scout noted watching multiple games where Beckham "just scored because of busted coverages" and "most of his yards yesterday came from one play where he had like 35 yards." Beckham saw 6 catch/76 yard productivity one week while Antonio Brown had 10 more catches and over twice the yards and twice the TD's against a premiere cornerback. Needs to get a clue.

    BOTTOM LINE

Nothing but media hype and only fantasy fanboys will think he's all that. "Be a well rounded player and we'll talk," noted a scout.

Finally league does something right and correct, you can't have these punks
ruin what fine men (Rooney's Mara's, Halas's) took years to create.

The officiating crew is under review too. They blew that situation bad, how they didn't eject them both is beyond me. Dean Blandino even called the booth during the game and told them to consider ejecting them, refs chose not to.
