Will Chip Kelly be run out of town? lol

Didn't they get in some hot water for blacking out games when they were still getting taxpayer funds or something like that?

 

They didn't black any games out. What Spanos did was to threaten to break his lease because they couldn't fill the stadium. He duped the dopes on the city council into guaranteeing the city would buy up any unused tickets so there wouldn't be any blackouts. So, Spanos didn't have to put a winning product on the field because the city council spent tax money to keep him happy.

 

Man that's ridiculous. I bet he wishes the Steelers were in town more often. LOL!

 

In order for Chip's high octane offense to work he needs 18-23 year olds with very little wear on them and plenty of them to rotate in. The problem is in the pros you have guys that are 25-35 with some wear on them that can't keep u that pace and the 53 limits what he can do. Not saying that it would be better if he had those things just pointing out the flaws. Signing FA's, drafting guys and developing them isn't like shopping for the best guys and offering them free rides. It takes time and effort both of which Chip has very little of and his time is getting shorter.

 

I know I do. Seriously, it's not just Steelers. It's also Broncos, Cowboys, Chiefs, Raiders, 9ers............pretty much any team that's not the Chargers!

 

There is only one USC for me and it isn't in South Carolina.
