If the Raiders beat the Chargers we're in trouble ..... If they win their easy schedule can give them a quick 7-4..... a 12-4/11-5 record wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibilities ....... Buffalo also a schedule favorable to a 11-5/10-6 record and the colts already lead us by a game ........

Our playoff hopes may lie as the division champs and the birds have us by two games & we end the season playing them!!!!

It’s a bit early to start playoff projections and I haven’t looked at it real deep......

But right now I’m a Chargers fan!!!!

Nothing matters anyway unless we win whats in front of use. That is something this team can control. Go Chargers and all NFC teams playing AFC teams.

Since the majority on here are convinced the Steelers aren't going to do anything this year anyway, F the Chargers!

I may be the only one here happy with the results of this game! We'll be tied with Oakland on Sunday.

I guess we should just enjoy the season. We aren't going anywhere. If we make the playoffs, it will be by luck anyway. I don't see it so the pressure is off.

While some of you are moping around, I will be watching the Steelers play Feb. 2, 2020 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. I refuse to give up...ever!

I'm not worried about the Raiders, their defense is bad and I think they will fade down the stretch.

Chargers chances look like they are on life support now. Best of all, that bodes well for Pittsburgh in terms of playoff seeding due to the tiebreakers. Any other loss by the Chargers is just icing on the cake.

Only remaining challenger will be Buffalo. They will visit Heinz Field in due time. That will likely decide the final wild card spot.

All this said, keep in mind one important aspect. Derwin James of the Chargers. He is slated to come back the next game so I wonder how much impact he will have down the stretch.

    Yep.

Mahomes will be returning soon the same. Kansas City now has a commanding lead in their division. Besides, should Oakland lose one more game, that boosts Pittsburgh's Wild Card seeding even more.

Only remaining obstacle is Buffalo. Have to either beat them or lose to them + win the tiebreakers. Rather have the former happen.

This right here win what is in front of us and worry about nobody else. Yeah we have the Rams this week but look at the next 4 weeks.....Clowns, Bungals, Clowns and Cards. While no game is easy this is a pretty favorable schedule for us. That leads to maybe the biggest game with the Bills which could be for the Wildcard. One week at a time and one win at a time and we are in good shape.

It’s still possible that we finish 12-4 win the division, and get a first round bye.

"While no game is easy..." Something I (and others) have shared repeatedly. MT's winning %against teams with losing records is just over .200. You are correct, no game is easy,

When Ben went down I gave up. Then we got back to .500 and I still don't see any hope of playoffs unless 8-8 makes it.
