Why would Rodgers leave GB to come here?

Objective meaning delusional I guess. This offense needs a complete overhaul before we can discuss anything post season related.

I know a good portion of us are in our late 40's and some into their 60's but some of the younger guys and girls might not remember the year Ben was drafted and the following year with Rodgers. Not so very long ago the 1st round of the draft took forever. Team's would take the full allotted time to make their pick and if a trade happened the team trading up was them allowed a certain amount of time too. So when Ben was selected at 11 it had been like over 3 hrs or so in the green room. The drama of the Chargers drafting Eli and then swapping him to the Giants for Rivers just dragged on. The following year Alex Smith was drafted 1st over all and Rodgers had to wait and wait and wait. It got so awkward that they pulled him out of the green room and got a hotel room for him to wait in. That always has bugged the heck out of me. I'm not a huge Ben guy but he waited a long time and no one got him a hotel room.

I hope Rodgers does not go to an AFC team. Worse would be not us, but into our division (how secure is Mayfield and Jackson?).

He is probably all talk and is staying, but you never know.

Mayfield is not secure at all, Lamar would actually have 2 suck for 7 years straight, and still the world would hate on ravens for letting him go(while chanting about a MVP he got 10 years ago). So ravens is a no go, but I'd be scared of the browns with any above average Qb. At least till that team starts drifting apart.

No they don’t. They have the RB, the TE, DJ is legit, don’t care what anyone says about that, Claypool for all the heat he gets isn’t having a terrible season, think his problem is more Ben related. Bring JuJu back or draft a WR. Add a FA or two on the line, they have the cap space, add some through the draft. Draft or sign a vet QB.

I'm sure the packers will try to trade Aaron, but his cap hit is 46.1 million in 2022 they're going to have to cut him or restructure, but if he wants out, he is gone.

Who wants to give up multiple first round picks... and 46 mill plus.... going to have to restructure day 1.

But unless they put a no trade clause in the restructure.... he will go where they send him

But honestly the move was to guarantee he gets cut and gets to choose his next team

Brady switched conferences so I see Rodgers doing the same.

The rumor is the browns want Watson... will send picks and Mayfield.

    Montana went to KC
    Peyton went to Denver
Farve went to NY then Minn
Warner went to NY then AZ
    Namath went to LA
    Brady went to Tampa

    Rodgers will go somewhere

I guess Pittsburgh would be a bit better. I'm a pro player it's south or stadiums with a roof. I'd fake injury when we have to play in the cold:)

We don't know that for sure. I know a guy who has 7 accounts and goes on other teams message boards. They kicked his ass off the Bengals, Browns and Ravens board.

    So what are the options

    AFC EAST
    Buffalo. NO
    NE. NO
    Miami. Yes
Jets. No. He won't pick jets

    AFC NORTH
    Cleveland. Yes
    Pittsburgh. Yes
    Cincinnati. No
    Baltimore. No

    AFC SOUTH
    Tennessee. Maybe
    Jacksonville. No
    Indianapolis. Doubtful
    Houston. He won't pick Houston

    AFC WEST
    KC No
    Chargers. No
    Las Vegas maybe
    Denver. Yes

    NFC EAST
    Giants Yes
    WFT. Yes
    Dallas. No
    Philadelphia Yes

    NFC NORTH
    GB. we will see
Detroit No we won't pick Detroit
    Chicago No
    Minnesota Yes

    NFC SOUTH
    TB. No
    Carolina. Yes
    New Orleans Yes
    Atlanta maybe

    NFC WEST
    Seattle No
    San Francisco maybe
    AZ. No
    Rams. No

So maybe 5 in the AFC and 7 in the NFC

CLE... ready to give up on Baker?
    Pitt...
MIA... upgrade Tua.. no state tax
    Denver...
    Giants... enough Jones already?
    Wft...
    Phila...
Minn... could he stay in north?
    Carolina... stuck with Darnold
    Saints...
    49ers... what about Lance?

Myself I think the best fits
    Browns, Steelers, Dolphins, Broncos
    Saints.... maybe Phila and WFT

    so 5 to 7?

Its not as far fetched as some think

My dark horse is TENN. They could be a SUPER TEAM ala the BUCS

Heard on ESPN last weekend, Rodgers is likely staying with Green Bay... and Wilson is staying with Seahawks. Pete Carroll confirmed the rumors about Wilson leaving were not true.

We will see on Rodgers.... what changed since he threw a fit and got his contract reworked? They will owe him 46.1 million next year unless he gives them back the power he took from them last year.

I heard today on ESPN that Wilson leads the league in sacks since He's been in the league. I'm only throwing this out there 1. Just Heard about it, and 2. I didn't know that.

Steelers are not going to pursue Rodgers. Find some other cage rattling material. This one isn't getting it done Benny
