Why not trade for Fitzpatrick

Laundry sucks!. Even with him knowing the system. I know Fitz is having a pretty bad year but he brings veteran experience! and the Jets seem to be getting desperate, I believe with our weapons he would mesh pretty good or at least give the other burger a chance, seriously why in the world wouldn't the front office address this problem in the off season.

Because it's a ****ing awful idea.

 

To be fair, Naf, Landry hasn't really played any this season. He threw one pass in the last game, handed off a few times and took a knee. There's no gauge on where he is as a player.

What we know from last season is that if the rest of the offense are on form, then he can run the playbook to the standard you would expect of a back up QB on a rookie contract. The question for me is less about Landry stepping up, and more about Decastro, AB, Coates, AV, Pouncey et al. remembering how good they actually are.

 

1 year $12m contract? Who we gonna cut? No thanks

Last season for Fitzpatrick was the exception, not the rule...... most of his career has resembled this yr., which basically puts him a half step above Landry jones

 

Totally pointless to bring in a QB with no experience in Haley's playbook.

Bringing in a QB mid-season TO START is basically a non option

While generally this is true it's not unheard.... Even this season look at Bradford and the Vikings.
