In-house hires.... 99/100 times, end up in failure and disaster. Steelers need to look elsewhere for coaching talent... either NFL or NCAA.

I don’t agree necessarily with the part in red

Sure it ultimately goes to the top but counting players IR practice coaches interns etc Tomlin has over 100 people working for him

It’s like the military if a private is a screw up a colonial doesn't nurture him. That gets kicked down to a Sargent or lieutenant

I had 600 people working for me at one time I sure as heck couldn’t fix a head case at the bottom

They only have so much practice time, a position coach needs to spend that time refining techniques, not playing shrink. If Azzanni should go because he can’t fix a broken head than Tomlin sure as hell should go.

We are stuck until ART II sells the team or kicks the bucket.

Not sure of family tree? Does he have children? I would think he'll hand it down if he does. I believe the Pirate owner has already said his daughters will get it. So I'm F'ed forever in MLB.

Dan Jr is next in line and has been on the forefront of the Ireland media rights stuff and has taken larger roles in stuff like league meetings.

Sort of an unwritten rule that teams sorta of take a pause during Super Bowl Week on hirings. A no upstage the Super Bowl rule is respected. So if no announcements this week then there won't be until after the Super Bowl.
