Why don't we have a running game?

Well, I read that Cincy was selling out to stop the run with Ben being on the list and having his knees banged up. They figured they would take the chances of him beating them...yeah they said that.

I also, was looking at Steelers Depot live stream and one of the early runs, the slot corner just crashes the backside and kills the run. Right off the snap with 3 WR set, he ignores the WR going out and just crashes the play unblocked. There's some speculation that they saw something in film that's keying them off. Might need to do some self scouting to find out what they're tipping. Because if that's a pass play with Conner picking up the block, he just let the slot receiver go free for a huge gain!

 

I know a lot say about our line not doing their job for the running game, but I still feel we do not have a running back that can take advantage of any holes opened up. Conner is a straight away runner, not a cut back or create your own hole. I don't think he has good on the field vision.
