For Harris vs Warren, true Harris protect the ball better but Warren is much productive with much better yards per run in 2022 and 2023....Like Warren is better at everything else and this is not like Warren is a fumble machine outside of the final game last year in Baltimore in the rain....

You're seriously going to make me defend Pickett?? Lol. Look, I've been one of the biggest Pickett detractors, but his play was not "History of the NFL" level bad. He sucked, but plenty of QB's have sucked. There are plenty of backs that have succeeded with sucky QB's. Some of the top backs even today pushed through terrible QB play to success. It isn't a viable excuse. Especially since the guy outperforming him literally plays with the same QB.

They technically don't have the same, because you're leaving out the playoff game in Najee's rookie year against the Chiefs where he fumbled... but that isn't the point. In the last two years Najee and Jaylen have the same amount of fumbles and Warren received 53% of Harris' touches. So, yes. Warren is nearly twice as likely to fumble since coming into the league. Most of that is one game in the rain too tho. Warren's fumble rate was .009 per touch prior to that game and Najee's was .008. Not much more. Fumbles are a part of the RB position, but they aren't weighted as heavily as yards/YPC/TD's etc. I'd rather have a good RB who is a bit more likely to fumble than a mediocre one that holds on to the ball better. That's like saying Kenny is good because he doesn't throw picks.

Not my fault that you stop reading at the first sign of something you don't agree with. The only thing that was "historically bad" is someone who has started as many games as Kenny having that low of a TD% per throw. Aside from that he was just bad. Plenty of QB's have thrown for less yards, plenty have turned it over more, plenty have scored very few points.... KP was bad. I am VERY glad we moved on from him. But we can't just start throwing "historically bad" around all willy nilly. It makes your points hard to take seriously.

Just in the 10 years previous to Kenny being selected in the first round, EJ Manuel, Brandon Weeden, Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel, Paxton Lynch, Marcus Mariota, Sam Darnold, Mitch Trubisky, Josh Rosen, Dwayne Haskins, Trey Lance, and Zach Wilson have been selected in the first round. You could make a case that any one of those guys is worse than Pickett and a few of them (Rosen, Lynch, Manuel, Haskins, Lance, Manziel) are objectively worse than Pickett. That's just the previous 10 years. I didn't even get to include Tim Tebow, Jake Locker, Christian Ponder, Blaine Gabbert, etc. There are many more names out there.

Again, I was a huge detractor of Kenny... but he is a long shot away from history of the NFL bad.

I don't care who likes my posts or not lol anyone else is entitled to their opinion. Just because someone gets more random jabroni's to "like" their post, doesn't mean their post has more merit.

I repeat. If You dig .....yes He was historically bad. You keep saying He wasn't......yet he was....so that automatically makes me stop reading after you say He wasn't. It has nothing to do with whether I agree with You , or not. It has to do with facts.....I know this doesn't mean much in today's society, but it does to me. If You start a comment with it never gets dark outside.....I will stop reading.....not because I don't disagree with You, but because I know what You said is false.....so therefore I don't care about the rest. That simple.

Just because one highly specific stat he has the lowest in, doesn't mean he was a historically bad QB. He had a historically bad TD% rate apparently, but there are plenty of other stats and things he was far from historically bad in. One stat (an obscure one at that) doesn't paint the whole picture. It doesn't make it FACT that he is "historically bad" because of a single stat. You just pick and choose things that prove your point, hold on to those, and then use the fact that these things exist as reasons to plug your ears and yell "LA LA LA" every time someone says something you disagree with.

Lets look at it in a different light... You defend Najee Harris quite a bit as being a good back. Did you know that Najee Harris has the worst YPC of any back drafted in the 1st round in last 11 years? Does that make him the worst first round RB in that time frame? Can you now admit that Najee is a historically bad first round pick and give up defending him? No. The answer SHOULD be no, because he's better than some of them. But he has a specific statistic in which he is the worst.

Ok....either reading comprehension is not for You , or You a deliberately being this way. I said he was historically bad....you said he wasn't....then if You dig you find yes he was historically bad in some categories.....now You try comparing historically bad ( which I guess you don't know the meaning of) with......was bad out of 1st round rb in the last 11 years. LoL. If you don't understand the difference.....again I'm just wasting my time.

I love all of those teams, but I’m actually a bit partial to the ‘76 team that didn’t make the SB, but had the greatest defensive run in history. What was it? 28 points over a 9 game span? Legendary!

A category. A singular obscure one.... If you dig, my point is that one "historically" bad stat doesn't make the player "historically bad". The second part was me trying to show you how ridiculous your stance was. It was completely facetious to show you how ridiculous the stance is... then you insult MY reading comprehension? lol come on.

I like the back and forth, but the conversation on this is just tiring. You have no desire to hear opposing views. You have no desire to defend your positions. You just want to say you're right, cling to a piece or two of evidence that solidifies your point, then just completely dismiss or entirely ignore contrary evidence. I'm cool with agreeing to disagree. If that's cool with you :)

As to original post. Friend works in the betting parlor at the Hard Rock Casino in AC. He told me they are getting some bets being placed on the NFL. Most are Super Bowl bets and most our being placed on the Eagles. He did say the Steelers are getting action from people who are not fans but just can't believe that they won't win at least 8 games. A lot of the big money bettors put $$ on our over.

If you ever get the chance in Vegas or AC (Vegas much better) go on a NFL Sunday. Insane watching people go crazy over a football game. Can't remember the teams but one team could have scored but laid down since game was in hand and it cost this guy 5 grand. He went ballistic and security had to come running. Some people bet every game and it's amusing watching going from TV to TV usually saying the F word a lot.
