Why does Tomlin dress like he is from upper Alaska?

I'm more interested in why teenagers here in Santee dress in hooded sweatshirts, with the hood up, and long (baggy) pants in the summer when the temperatures are regularly high 80s to the 90s. Seems like it's causing dain bramage!

They say keeping the sun off your skin directly is the better way to go in the heat, but I work outside and can't do it. I just feel too uncomfortable. If you watch the Latino workers though, you'll hardly ever see them in short sleeves. A lot are even wearing hoodies with the hood up on the hottest days.

I don’t know what they are called but I bought some supper thin long sleeve sun shirts down in Caribia and they are great even in very hot wether

Edit I googled my sun shirts to see what they are called and much to my surprise they are called “sun shirts”

I love the winter when it snows and skiing conditions are good. Skiing quality is not as good as it was 15+ years ago in my area of the country. There's too much cold, rainy weather with temps around 35° - 45°F instead of snow in the 20's. This ruins the ski season... not nearly enough natural snow.

I used to spend a lot of time in the winter in Minnesota for work. One winter it was in February and it was in the 30s and there was no snow. The people up there were absolutely miserable.

I've always like Bib overalls for working. You can wear them a few sizes too big for comfort, and still they stay up nicely.

We just water ski here, but when I was a kid I did snow skiing up north, and ice skating.

Seems like we only have 2 seasons here anymore.... summer and the cold rainy season (winter). Fall only lasts for about a month.... same with Spring.

My brother in law wears flip flops with no socks in the snow. And not like a short walk, he'll be outside all night.

I spent a lifetime on the water. Now when I go out, it's SPF 70! I've only had i spot of skin cancer cut out.......so far. It's hard to play sports or go fishing or sailing, etc. without going outside but, if anyone can figure out how to do those things online, it'll be my grandkids. They're addicted to their phones and video games!
