Why does Tomlin dress like he is from upper Alaska?

He is always in long sleeve shirts and vests. ( Even in the summer ). According to Max Starks he has only seen him wear shorts once. And Max has seen him 100's of times. He is always wearing dark sunglasses indoors or outside. Whether he knows it our not, this limits communication between him and the players with those Darth Vader sunglasses.

What is up? I assume there is a medical reason because it is not normal.

 

On the other end of the spectrum.... I know people who wear shorts all year 'round and.... in sub zero temps.

 

And wear sun glasses in doors?

 

He doesn't always wear sunglasses. There are many games he isn't wearing sunglasses

 

I believe he wears pants and long sleeve shirts in training camp
to let his players know he is in with them during the dog days of summer
and they are in pads.

 

if I remember correctly he wears the all black and long sleeves etc to in a way put himself in the same uncomfortable place the players are. Hes not out there running and tackling, but he is wearing all black in the blazing sun. As for always wearing dark sunglasses indoors or out that is patently false. Lord forbid he might actually want to see what the team is doing on the field

I'm the same. If I'm not in Bib overalls , I'm wearing shorts 97% of the time. I will even wear shorts when I have to wear a long-sleeved shirt, and a coat. LoL

I have to wear scrubs for work but the rest of the time I'm in shorts. I have coveralls for cold weather hunting, but they are not insulated or heavy. I have long pants for a suit, or something I must dress for. But I have no idea when I last wore jeans or even sweat pants.

 

I do mine.
Of course I have never cared what others thought about what I wore , as long as I liked it

 

All my sweat pants are cut into long shorts. LoL

 

I think the years I spent in Florida made me dress the way I do now. I'm usually in slides on my feet year 'round, shorts, and whatever shirt the windchill determines. I mean just for every day living. I'm not walking into church in shorts and slides.

I have a picture of me in my bib overalls standing with my great something niece wearing bib overalls and she is about 4 years old

Some day when she is about 20 something with a boyfriend I’m going to show her that picture just to embarrass her

 

My hobbies require cold weather gear or I would die of hypothermia within 10 minutes. Alpine Skiing, Winter Road Cycling and Winter Gravel/Mountain biking require necessary clothing for temps below 30° Fahrenheit. Wearing shorts in those temps would be loco. I wear jeans/pants every day to work. I can't show up to work and look like I'm cleaning out the garage.... dress code, etc. Plus, sweat pants are great and necessary for winter time in four seasons country.
