If we had a competent HC and a new vision this place would be much different. There would be hope.

The one thing I do get a kick out of after a loss is waiting for the known trolls to climb out of their holes and playing Whack A Troll

I got up this morning and found two of them stuck to the bottom of my shoe and I’ve been trying to scrape them off

They are legit questions. I understand having conversations. But multiple threads about the same thing gets old.

No,it wouldn’t. Y’all complain about every single coach and coordinator we have. If we fire Arians everything will be fixed. Fire dick lebeau the game has passed him by. Fire Haley! Fire! Fire! Fire!

Speaking for myself, I watch because I hope for better. I stick with the Steelers because I don't believe in jumping around on teams to pick the latest and hottest TikTok flavor. Or maybe I'm just a glutton for pain. I am emotionally invested during football season.

We fired Matt Canada and look how swimmingly things are going now! Maybe it’s not the coordinators??

I had you pegged as being smarter than that. They’re legit questions. If you know the whining won’t change anything why do it? If you’re like Arch and the other one and truly believe the nfl is rigged why complain?

    Oh it’s not for nothing

I get personal satisfaction out of it

Especially when it gets them all wound up and they start blathering

Oh, I totally agree with that. There are ongoing topics that I'm sure get old for some people, but they are ongoing frustrations in some cases.

People keep bringing them up because to them they are trying to understand why, because maybe the answers seem obvious to them, these things never change. And they're looking for other people who see things the way they do, or legitimate answers to his questions . :drinks:

    Ok here is a problem

What you posted is 100% not true and you can not find one example of this

But you make up total illogical bull**** and post it for who knows what reason

And that is part of why you get no respect here

IMO, Matt Canada was a huge problem. I don't believe that he's the only problem, but I do think that on the coaching staff, he was the single biggest failure we had when he was on the team.

I know a lot of people are going to point to Tomlin for that role, but Matt Canada always reminded me of somebody's dad that got tapped to coach the high school football team because there was nobody else. So he took the job even though he didn't know crap about it.

At least Tomlin knows football. He has his issues for sure and I think that his time should be over, but I think he's far more competent than Canada was.

I'm only on here for short stints as it is. And what do I bring up everyday according to you? Am I always calling for Tomlins head? No. What do I bring up everyday ?

I’m too old to go outside and play in the snow but at the moment a lovable oaf of a yellow lab is looking at me with very sad eyes and a tennis ball in her mouth

    So out I go

Obviously not because it would require you having respect for yourself

And the Homer phrase you constantly misuse just makes you look foolish

But apparently that is the look you are going for

Let’s go have a beer and talk about something else

Being a fan of a team and hoping for them to do well does not mean you stop being able to recognize patterns. I hope and root for a win every game, right until the last tick of the game clock, but I also recognize where my favorite team has issues, and I wish for them to fix as much as they can and do better.

Negativity for the sake of negativity is useless, but caring about a team and discussing things you wish were better with other fans of said team is not a problem in-and-of itself. Constant doom and gloom, however, is. There's a mix of all of this here.

Now this post is a winner

And somehow you will be accused of being a homer by the doom and gloom crowd

    It is what it is
