Herbert was brought down to earth last night and Mahomes is no Brady in his prime. Too much hype for AFC QBs. Mortal....they are.

They need to figure it out, our schedule is brutal from where I sit. Also most teams I have watched this year have bad Offensive Lines.

I've said before and I'll say it again. Canada's offense isn't very hard for opposing DC's to decipher once you peel away the shifts, motions, etc.

Is he keeping the playbook for Trubisky light? Maybe but if this play calling is going to be standard, it's going to be a long season.

There has been plenty of teams loaded on offense that didn't make a Super Bowl, look at those Air Coryell San Diego Chargers, defense wins championships.

I still think Canada chose Mitch, and the Rooney's picked Pickett.

Tomlin is trying to play both sides of the fence here. Give Canada a chance to see if his offense can work and keep the Rooney's happy in convincing them that he is their next franchise QB.

Tomlin is keeping Mason in the back of the cupboard just in case everything blows up.

Tomlin is leaving Rudolph in the back of the cupboard because he slightly better than whatever scrub they could sign off the street to take his place and the team can't seem to get proper value for him in trade.

Also, I'm sure he remembers how easy it can be for injuries to leave you with your third-string quarterback as they did in 2019.

Still don’t see why Tomlin hired Canada for OC.

Josh Allen on the other hand... If there is one guy in the league I would want to be a Steeler that isn't, I would choose him.

I am not a fan of Canada's pop gun offense, but before I condemn the man I would assume on every play there is some assumption of the blocking working.
The simple answer to why we don't have an NFL offense is because right now we do not have an NFL offensive line. We might at some point if they can come together and jell. But right now the o line is the weakest link on the this team.

Can anyone remember a time when fans did not complain about the OC. I recall fans hating on Arians and Mularkey.

I grew up and still live in Western Pa, I have been watching for over 50 years. OC is always in the hot seat and the 2nd string QB
is always fan favorite until he actually gets in there and plays. I am a big Pitt fan and KP fan.

I loved their defense philosophy, "bend don't break". Even they knew their D sucked.

All you need to do is read a GDT for any game and you'll see we all know the plays that should have been run.

I do miss the long ball. I loved when Ben wailed one. I'd hold my breath and hope for the best. For me it's one of the more exciting things to watch in football. Ben admitted he just had to do it once or twice a game.

While I may understand the reasoning for keeping it short and quick I sure the hell hope Trub/Mason/Pickett air some out.

That Denver offense you envy so much put up a whopping 16 points, the same amount of points the Steelers offense put up. While I'm not necessary disagreeing about the Steelers offense needing to be more aggressive, maybe find a better example.
