I concur.Just one thing, I still need to see more of JJ before I have an opinion on him. Needs more upper body strength to compete at this level.

Your right. I remember that one now. I turned to my wife and said Gilbert just hurt another teammate. Glad it didn't create a serious injury. What a terrible pass protector. He does look pretty decent as a run blocker, but it seems like he can't effectively cover the real estate that a tackle needs to cover in pass protection. I wonder if he'd do better as a guard.

Cortez Allen is a joke, I understand he may be better with pressure but it kills me how he gets beat on go routes almost every single time and when guys catch the ball they have room to run. The worst part is he isn't just bad at covering his guy, he can't tackle them when they make the catch, so he is up there. I also have no clue to why this team wanted Cam Thomas, we just got rid of Ziggy Hood and they bring in his identical twin, no push, no vision and can't shed a block to save his life.

Not easy at all for us simple people lol

Judging my a quick glance. Cam Thomas is the worst with Cortez Allen following a close second. I think my biggest suprise is Keisel has a -5.5 overall

I don't place much stock in PFF numbers, but Cam Thomas and Allen have been so awful that any statistical system - no matter how flawed - would show what that table shows. But Moats.. 7 pressures in 40 pass rushes? He's looked decent, but I can't recall him looking anywhere near that good.

It's hard to recall him looking like anything because Tomlin seems to insist on keeping him off the field. Maybe he's getting more time than I realize but I sure don't recall seeing him that much.

I was down on the Moats signing but he's looked good when in there. Tip my cap to him.

I would include the entire starting LB unit, that's three first round picks and one second round pick all these high draft picks need to start playing like it. Jones and Shazier are injured, even before then the unit wasn't dominating.

funny how everyone is picking players that are

    NEW OR YOUNG

    YET

the PERSON who set the tone last week was

    BEN

10 freaking YRS on the team and he puts the entire team on their heels from minute 1

Surprised no one is saying Dri Archer. 5 totals yds from scrimmage, isn't returning punts and 2 kick returns for lousy yardage.

is why there is a thread on his immaturity

    BEN
    THE VETERAN
    THE SO CALLED LEADER
    IS MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES

I agree with all of the above. I don't know if anyone has mentioned Cam Heyward but it seems that his play has slipped a little since last season. He's still the best D lineman we have by far and splashes on occasion. I'd just like to see more consistency.

But definitely Cortez Allen, Mike Mitchell, Jarvis Jones, Cam Thomas, Troy P, Steve McClendon, pretty much the entire D and Marcus Gilbert and Kelvin Beachum on offense.

Naa, thats why I didnt pick Bell. AB's been here 4 years, his day dreaming about what endzone dance to do cost us last week and his sloppy footwork kept us out of the playoffs last year. Should trade him so Ben can get a real target.
