Greetings everyone. There's no right or wrong answer here as both were all-time greats, but who would you choose: John Elway or Peyton Manning?

Peyton Manning....He is top 5 QB of all-time(in super bowl era) just behind Brady,Montana and Mahomes....Elway is likely in the top 10,around Brett Favre but still behind Peyton

Elway......by way far. Stats don't show how for most of Manning career they faced nobody in their own division.

    Elway of course.

I would love to know who you think Elway's Marvin Harrison was. Peyton had Harrison, so who did Elway have at WR?

Elway play in a tougher time. Played in a tougher division....Elway has been to more SBs, and Has a way better playoff record. What more You need???

AFC was weak in the 1980s and early 1990s.....The AFC was great for most of the career of Peyton Manning. From 2003 until the end of his career the colts or Broncos also won 12 games or more every year except for one with Manning as QB no matter his supporting cast,if it was weak or great

Elway would not make a single SB in the 1980s if the AFC were as strong as the 2000s

One more. Statistically, Manning has a better SB record at .500 to Elway's .400 but, Elway has bigger teeth!

    Elway 5 SBs played
    Manning 4 SBs played
The divisions they played in weren't even close.
I said Divisions....not conference.....maybe know the difference

Wrong. Manning played in 2 with the Colts, 2 with the Broncos. His teams lost to the Saints and the Seahawks

You are correct. I always forget about them losing to the Saints. Still Harder division, more SBs played in, and the playoff record is not even close, and He has bigger teeth.

I know you have an irrational dislike of Manning. I didn't much care for Elway. Until late in his career.
It's kind of a tossup over which one got their asses handed to them worse in the SB

I don't dislike Manning, but I have always been fascinated how the NFL built up His prowess like He was Head, and shoulders above everyone.....Yet His playoff record, and stats in the playoffs are almost identical to Ben......Yet some would have You believe one was a Genius/God of football.....while the other was lazy/fat/couldn't learn plays player. I've watched the NFL do this with many players.....they pick one , and nothing, no loss, no problem no anything is their fault during their playing time. P. Manning was one, Cam Newton was another, and Lamar Jackson is now the latest. There have been others, but those come to mind.

You need to win the conference to be in the super bowl...Just division is not enough and the AFC were just awful in the late 1980s with the Browns as the second best team:lolol:....I mean just in 1989,only the Broncos had at least 10 wins in the AFC ....And the afc south were not that weak...The titans won 11 games in 2002,12 in 2003 and 13 in 2008.....The jaguars won 11 games in 2007 and 12 in 2005....It was not the best division but it was not awful...The colts were great against others teams outside of their division....They were often 8-2 or better outside of the AFC south

It depends who you decide to listen to....Manning, Newton and Jackson are all great players with a great career, same thing for Ben, it's normal they have praise, like every great players have praise. ...But they also have criticisms, they are no different than the others and it depends who you listens, since we hear about 987658487986640 different opinions on QBs every day during the season, good or bad

I said NFL. Therefore the NFL Network. That is their official sight....., but like usual you are already coming up with a way to argue so much so You apparently don't read......Example: I talk about Division, and you argue about the conference. Now I talk about the NFL, and You talk about different talk shows. How about at least reading something completely before You start disagreeing. You do this all the time. Example again....I was talking the other day about players, and You automatically came in with I don't think certain HCs are good. You are so f**king excited to argue with Me....You don't even read, and comprehend what was written. LoL. What are You 16. LoL You just add stuff to disagree with. LoL

My point was just that yes maybe the division was better for Elway, but you mentioned that he was in more super bowls after that, that's why I said the conference for Manning was stronger than Elway, especially in the 1980s vs 2000s for Manning...Just look at my post 20 that you have ignored....You can be in a weak division but be in a stronger conference....it's possible...Btw some in NFL network are good, like for the draft and other thing but for the rest I don't care what they think

    Stay respectful btw
