Who should start at quarterback?

Who should be the Steelers QB? Caleb Williams.

 

As long as Matt Canada is wearing the headset, it won't matter who is back there taking the snaps. I have never seen a team run as many 5-7 yard out routes as the Steelers do. They throw nothing over the middle, and you can forget trying to stretch the defense with the long ball.

That being said, I have mentioned it a couple of times, the first being when he was drafted, and been ridiculed for it. KP is NOT the answer. The kid had ONE frigging good year out of five at Pitt but was somehow anointed the next best thing. As a UNC fan I watch a lot of ACC football which means I watched more than my share of games involving KP over his college career. Take away his senior year and his stats were average at best (711-1177, 7,984 yards, 60.4%, 39 TD, 25 INT...to go along with 13 rushing TDs). As I watch him now, I see the same kid playing the way he did prior to his senior year in college. Maybe he turns it around at some point, but he has yet to show anything that indicates he will be the Steelers next franchise QB. Now am I saying MT is the answer, absolutely not. Even though he played for my Heels and tore it up in college, he has been a disappointment at this level based on the expectations coming out of college. Hopefully KP's injury is not serious and he can get back out there soon to ride the season out. I just think it might be time to look at drafting a QB again next year as some insurance (along with handing out pink slips to a few coaches) because this train called Steelers football is close to derailing.

 

If you want a better chance to win games you need to get rid of Canada and bring someone like Haley in. Or have KP put something together with sully and Thomas.

KP is still the best QB in black and gold - although I still think MR is better than MT, in this offense it won’t make much difference.

I don't think it matters and I don't care which ****ty QB they put in there to run their ****ty gameplans.

 

heyward was wide open for a score. najee ran for 5.1 yards per carry. the big TE caught one pass for 10 yards and a first down in his only usage this year. let's keep blaming the plays called instead of the execution of the plays. defense let's the opposition catch passes at an alarming rate uncovered. players running into each other. line missing blocks. this is not a problem of one guy. this is mass breakdown.
