I used to look for this video on Youtube, and could never find it, Lloyd was my favorite Steelers player back then. The announcer said he knocked him about 4 feet :hehehe:.

Yes I do remember that hit. I saw that one in person. I was there with my wife and we took my cousin and his 5 yo son, they were always huge Green bay fans. He took his son down behind the GB bench late in the 4th qtr. and those players took off wrist bands and forearm pads and gave them to the little guy. Pretty neat day. I coached him later on and he's on his second stint as a local HS coach.

A great game to watch is the regular season matchup between the Steelers and the Packers that same year. It was in GB, the last game of the season and the Steelers were playing for nothing except to keep an 8 game win streak alive and to keep the Packers from winning their division. Greg Lloyd and Kevin Greene both crush Brett Farve at various times, but they can't manage to knock him outta the game.

"I just know that something's bleeding. I'm not a doctor but I know that much," said Brett Favre, who was spitting up blood in the third period after taking a hard hit to the back at the goal line from Greg Lloyd.

Yep. He was fun to watch. He and Kevin Greene used to wreck offenses.

Not as a human being. Harrison (he who shall not be named) never pulled a gun on his son nor pulled it another time on his wife.

I think I like James Harrison demeanor slightly more.

He wasn't hired for his disposition. Harrison had off the field issues too. Not being a trader gets you a lot of points though. Greg Lloyd wins by a landslide.

Lloyd was never convicted of that alleged incident with his son.

“If I have to scream, if I have to bite, spit, get a 15-yard penalty, curse somebody out, even if I have to curse out one of my coaches and it means winning, then that’s the ultimate thing. If you don’t like it, the hell with you.”

Just Plain Nasty did okay for a 6th round draft pick.

I went to a pre-season game in Tampa in '98. I was standing at the railing in the endzone and he was wearing his "I Wasn't Hired For My Disposition" t-shirt. I yelled at him, "I'll pay your fines if you autograph your shirt for me!" He said, "Get out your checkbook!" I didn't know what to say. Wasn't expecting that. He gave me about 2 seconds to respond and just laughed, waved me off, and said, "Yeah, that's what I thought." Me and my big mouth.

I don’t remember the hit, but I remember the last game. Yancy Thigpen caught a pass in the end zone turned and knocked it loose with his own knee. Incomplete pass game over

It's about the only Steelers loss I can stomach.
They played good enough to win, and the loss really didn't matter.

that was my response as well. We lost, but no big deal. With that being said you would think if it really didn’t matter I wouldn’t remember that play.

It was NOD until Tomlin brought in his homeboy Vick. That azzhole is definitely the worst to ever wear black and gold. Just another reason for my great disdain for Tomlin.
