Due to un-expected draft moves these players are there at # 17 so who is your pick now?

    Cordarrelle Patterson WR

    Xavier Rhodes CB

    Jarvis Jones OLB

    Kenny Vaccaro FS

    Vaccaro.

I know the doctors have cleared Jones, but the phrase "spinal stenosis" scares me to death. My opinion has always been, have a lethal front 7 who can bring extreme heat on the QB and they can make even average DB's look solid, but that condition with Jones scares me.

Vaccaro seems like a can't-miss pick, although seeing us get Swearinger in the 3rd would make me smile!

Went with Rhodes, though I'd prefer we trade down. Jones back/age scares me, Patterson appears to be another WR deva I don't want us to deal with and there's enough S talent in rd 2/3 to pass on Vaccaro.

I like Vaccaro, but Safety is deep. Don't think we need a corner that high. Think WR is deep also. Went Jones, because he is the kind of freakish athlete that you only get to draft every couple of years. Don't think the stenosis is a major concern.

I'm with you on this! I have loved the way swearinger plays the game. I think he would be a good fit here. Fingers are crossed.

I voted for Vaccaro. However, if those were our 4 choices, I might prefer to trade down. I like Vaccaro, and I think he will make more of an impact day #1 than any other safety in this draft because of his versatility and high football IQ, but I am not sure that he has the physical ability to ever be a great safety. I think he will be good immediately, and would be able immediately fill in at a solid level (better than Mundy or Will Allen) for either Troy or Clark, but I see him being capped at a fringe pro-bowler level. Therefore, I'm torn. To me he's a very safe pick at #17, but I might prefer to pick up an extra pick and cast my die with a safety a little bit later in the draft who may not be as ready day 1, but can be as good a player 2-3 years from now - albeit at a single position - either FS or SS (Vaccaro can be either).

However, among those 4 guys it's no contest for me. Vaccaro hands down. However, I think it's more than 50/50 he will be gone by #17.

olb, s, and wr are pretty deep in this draft, with many very intriguing prospects. if we don't trade down, and are forced to take one of these 4, my choice would be Rhodes..... great value won't be around later at the cb position as opposed to the others

I voted for Vaccaro, the back end is just to iffy back there,
We could also see some cap casuality's next year. I certainly hope they get him ready quickly
I have alot of faith In Carnell. Not so much in Lebeau.

Steelers have brought in quite a few DB's and not just Safeties for pre draft visits. It makes you wonder what the odds of drafting a CB early are?

Out of the players listed, I'd have to go with Jones. I feel like he would be able to help us sooner than the other guys, and believe me , we're going to need some help with the Pass Rush!

I voted Rhodes only because we'll get a safety and OLB/DE in the mid rds. CB are harder to find and Rhodes did come in for a visit and Ike is Aging.

I'd be happy with any of the picks though.
