We lost to the Cowboys because we couldn't score more than 16 freaking points. We beat the Browns later. People....You can't play man against certain Qbs, and one of those Qbs play in our division . There is a reason why Belichick never has beat Lamar Jackson, and why we have only lost to him twice.

The Defense was never elite, but they really got bad when we started playing with 5 different starters out. There are only 11 starters. You take 5 different ones out...it means problems.
Especially when the only real CB that You have is missing.

I forgot who it was, released Travis thinking someone in the secondary would pick him up..Travis walked in for easy wide open TD.
Look at the last Ravens game break down..Mitch had to do so much coordinating on the fly getting people where they should be when Ravens showed them a formation
    never saw them in before..

Speaking of Playoffs...remember Blake Bortles looking like Brady in Pittsburgh.

then again ...almost every time they played the Pats in those years playoff games. Ugh.

Based upon this deduction alone, they need to spend less on defense and send that money towards the offense and their defense is merely a paper tiger. If this means trading assets to get younger, then so be it. The retool is looking more and more like a failure especially when talking about the OL.

Yea he had Brian Flores on staff last year but he wouldn’t let him do anything and he went to the Vikings pretty sure they lead the league in sacks and they look pretty good as a unit yet the have no real standouts that you can name.

Did you see Sutton on the td to kelce? He was standing there looking like a human turnstile as kelce ran by and scored. Someone came over with there arms raised like wtf are you doing? With that being said there are examples of linemen not doing their job as well. I can’t remember whether it was Benton or cam vs the ravens. On one play everyone on the line has their run fit then one of guesses which way Henry will go. Henry cuts back to the otherside and is off to the races. On every play everyone has a job to do. When one of them doesn’t it all breaks down. It doesn’t help we’ve been playing the best teams in the league

We are not a disciplined team with the x's and o's. We are constantly susceptible to the cut back runs, our Highsmith and Watt are so hell bent on getting to the QB they lose contain alot and aour DB's are not communicating well enough. For ever stop we seemingly have mental breakdowns on other drives and give up long 3rd and forevers. Too many mistakes and that to me speaks to coaching and instilling a tremendous focus on the details. We are nowhere near being able to to consistently compete against the elite teams. We have a tough time overcoming injuries and as stated above its rare we play complimentary football. We start slow, the defense is on the field too much and by the end of the season we look worn down.

The D only appeared good because of turn overs - I said that weeks ago.

now that the luck of the turnover is not favoring the Steelers, the D is it’s true self.

It’s a bad strategy to depend so much on “lucky splash” plays.

This. A conservative offense/defense that relies on winning turnover battle. Run the ball, kick fgs, rush four drop soft zone and hope for fumbles/ints.

We are not getting enough pressure on the QBs while on defense and our offensive line is not giving our QB good protection.

I never really thought our secondary was that good going into the season, we got lucky playing bad teams early.

They have been bringing in journeyman corners for years, hoping to throw sh*t at the wall to see if it sticks.
