They must be keeping Tucker. That's the only thing I can come up with.

In a surprise move, they're gonna sign Archer again

Going to move DHB to return guy . After the Coaches watched his end around tape they are going to be bold and put their fastest guy on returns.

Easier to field a kick than a pass . Now if it was a punt he would be the last guy I would let do that. I seriously think he could make a good kick returner.

Is it me, or have we been trying to find a good kick returner since Larry Anderson?

We haven't returned a KO for a TD since 2010. Anyone serviceable will do.

    I vote for Najeh Davenport

But seriously, if I had to bet on someone, I'd put my money on JuJu.

Seems too fragile. He would get abused.

He returned kicks at USC. He has the natural agility for the position, and has shown the vision/YAC skills required of the position. Let's not over react to getting dinged up in a preseason game.

Im happy to hear other ideas... but given the current roster, this is likely our best option.

Maybe you're right. Did we keep 5 WRs? Probably going to need all of them. What about backup RB? Maybe P WP has something with DHB returning KOs.

I would suggest Cameron Sutton but due to his unavailability at the moment, I agree with RPO on trying out JuJu for the time being.

Cameron Sutton was good at returning kicks for the University of Tennessee. However, his recent string of injuries are preventing the coaching staff to get a good look at him in live game action.

How about Watson? He may not be fast as some, but he looks hard to tackle.

Sutton returned punts at TN not KOs. Not sure the technical skill set difference between the two though.

I wish he could be too. Sadly, he is a pure running back. On top of that, he did not return kicks in either Training Camp nor Preseason action.

Talking about kick offs, wishing we would have a new policy of not running any back from the end zone so we start on the 25, which has to be better than we average. Doing that AND not calling low percentage plays on 3rd and short would help big time IMO.

I'd bet on Watson being the upback, and JuJu the Returner. JuJu was working with the return team in OTAs and Camp.

DHB and Hunter didn't practice returns at all. I don't recall them ever being a part of a KR unit. But maybe in the past at Oakland/Tennessee

Sutton would be an option if he was healthy.

He returned some kicks at USC (16 total; 11 of them in 2014) but wasn't the primary kick returner. It would be a good way to get him involved. Terrell Watson is another possibility.
