DeCastro I believe is best. Pouncey probably most irreplaceable.

DeCastro...I hope to see him make a block like Faneca did in SBXL for Willie Parker. Perfection.

Believe it or not, our best o-lineman over the last 3 seasons has been ramon foster.
2 yrs ago he was one of only 3 interior linemen in the league to not allow a single sack..... so far this season, he's our only lineman without a single penalty........
Decastro and pouncey are more athletic, but don't sleep on foster

I think Finney can fill in for either Pouncey or Decastro with some drop off of course. Both have a level of mobility not seen in many offensive linemen. Who is the better of the two I call it a toss up, both are great in space but I seen both get put on their heels when facing big powerful DT or NG. Finney in the small amount I have seen might be able to hold his ground better but is not on par with that special level of mobility.

I would think we are weaker at backup tackle so either tackle going down long term would be a bigger problem. As far as who is
irreplaceable I see it as either AV or Gilbert.

Our whole o line is elite.

Hard to rate them but if I had to:

    Decastro 93
    Pouncey 90
    Gilbert 88
    Foster 87
    Villy 83

Not sure how I come up with these ratings lol I just know O line is our strength. Big bad physical O lines like Balt dominate us but that’s to be expected I guess

Interesting. When I first saw the thread title, I wondered if Foster would get a shout out.

Decastro and Pouncey have more talent, sure enough, but Fosters consistency is worth considering.

It is worth considering, but DeCastro and Pouncey are still their best linemen. I would say Pouncey is tougher to replace because they lose a little more with Finney at guard than at center.

For irreplaceable, I’d say AV. Imagine our offense if the blind side is unreliable.

very tough call, I haven't focused on the oline during the games this year like I usually do.

Most irreplaceable imo would be AV, just because of our backup situation. AV has been playing well as of late and we have good interior backup guys. We haven't seen Chuks or Feiler at LT so that would be a big concern for me.

    Concur with Elvis.

DeCastro is now the best offensive lineman we have. For a time, Pouncey was by a long shot. Last two seasons however, DeCastro has shown me much more.

Most irreplaceable would be Big Al. While I do like the idea of Chuks obtaining some experience, I would rather have him gain that experience when the game is beyond the opponents reach and not if Big Al is out.

No doubt I trust Mike Munchak but I still would be concerned, rather cautiously optimisitc, about Chuks starting.
