He is probably already working on finding a way to transmit on the other teams freq. Rather than just listen to the other coaches play calls, he will be the one talking to the opposing QB!

Gee coach, every time your voice sounds a little funny I throw a pick six?:hehehe:

Yesterday's coverage of the Dallas L.A. game was God-awful! The pace the game is played at is a bit hard to follow as it is but the double picture in picture of both teams coaches calling out plays, obscuring half the main screen, was painful!

I thought the L.A. black, gold, and red uniforms were pretty good except for the red:hehehe:

    The yellow was disturbing.
Landry Jones team looked like the Titans.

The Defenders look a step ahead of everyone else.

I can not lie I am interested in the XFL but always have something going on and end up missing it or just seeing a little bit. I think one of the big things is only having 1 game on it slows things down unlike the NFL where you have multiple games to switch to. Maybe this weekend.....lol

I've tried watching two weeks in a row now. It's tough, not sure I like the aired play calling from the coaches. Lots of things could be improved.

Yeah I agree I was really into the AAF and I think with that folding I am a little hesitant to get all into this. I will give it time just don't plan my weekend around it like I do the NFL.

I'm not a fan of the emphasis they put on the audio and video of coaches play calling. I watched a game on ESPN last week and they had a picture in picture of both coaches which collectively took up 80% of the viewable screen. This went on, during actual plays, long enough to make me change the channel.

I was kind of enjoying watching the DC Defenders (being from Ohio, I thought I could root for Cardale Jones and being a Steelers fan, Eli Rogers). But while they started off looking really strong, the last two weeks they've been awful.

I've also kept and eye on Landry Jones, and while he's played OK, he didn't look very good this week. I was kind of rooting for him, but it's kind of confirming the Steelers' decision to let him go.

Obviously sports are on hold, who knows if the XFL survives.

That being said, my interest was pretty low when the games were going on.

First thing, there's no team in Pittsburgh or even Columbus where I currently live. As a sports fan I need some connection to the city of the team I root for.

Second, this isn't a league like the old AFL that proved to be an equal to the NFL and eventually merged. The XFL, in my eyes, is a second-tier league that will only be a feeder league to the NFL at best.

Put a fork in it. This league is done.
