No. There's only one Bus. Kidding aside, I've seen Lacy draw that comparison due to his stature.

You didn't mention Mendenhall, who actually was a premier back.

Please, Mendenhall didn't want to be in Pittsburgh and from some of his recent quotes, doesn't really want to be looked at as a football player.

You want 2 injury prone RB Bradshaw has chronic bad feet and Lattimore had 2 knee injuries in college no thanks pass on both. There are plenty of RB in the draft.

Everyone keeps bringing up Bradshaws feet yet he ran for 1015 yards last season and didn't miss a game and that was before the surgery.

Yes for a one year deal on Bradshaw. I think he will be hungry to prove he is worth more than what he is getting. As for the knee injuries, it worked for Willis McGahee and that was 10 years ago. With modern medicine and healing there is a chance his knees will be stronger than they were before the injuries. I am not saying he will be the next AP but just because he blew out his knee in college does not mean it will happen in the pros. Keep in mind Heath Miller slipped because of prior injuries in college. That pick turned out ok for us.

thats only 63 yards a game, behind a far better line then we're sporting. 1015 isn't that great of a season. it's also after surgery and a year later. bradshaw has some usage on him.

it would depend on how much i guess. it would displace redman or dwyer or a draft pick. if it's a one year deal, it also leaves our cupboard completely bare next year at RB. yikes.

Thats not bad for a bum wheel, 16th in the league, only 79 yards out of 12th best. Heck, Rice was at #11 with 1143 yards, not much better. Plus Bradshaw picked up 4.6 yards a carry. I imagine his total yards would improve even more if the surgery was successful. I don't want him for a long term deal, he's a short term answer. But if they are planning on drafting a rb anyway even if they do sign him, then they might as well pass on him, my thinking was to spend the pick elsewhere. There are some backs in the draft I like but no one that is omg have to have him. I'd sign Bradshaw to a 2 year deal and pick up a back next draft.

I certainly don't want a ton spent on Bradshaw. The only reason I would sign him is insurance for Lattimore this season assuming Lattimore needs the full season to rehab. If you draft any other RB that is 100% a go for training camp and the season then don't sign Bradshaw. As for leaving the cupboard bare for next year I would think we could again get either Redman or Dwyer pretty cheap unless they have a monster year. And if that is the case then that RB earned a bigger contract.
