BFT, it didn't take your vote, if you voted in the actual Poll.
There was a problem in creating the poll and it was "hung-up busy" for a bit.

What's your thoughts on why it will be Redman?I just don't see that considering Red hasn't played much this preseason. Right now I see Dwyer until he struggles.

I voted Dwyer, Ben likes him at the moment ... until he misses a few blocks that Redman would normally pick up.

Dwyer just because he is the healthiest, otherwise I would have picked LSH.

TTF will have to answer that. I do know that after I made the original post and then went to make the poll options that there was a "hang-up" and it took a lot longer than normal.

It was like the system was trying to "tap-out". :lolol:

Dunno. It worked for me on mine. ;-)

I'd need more details to try to troubleshoot that...pm would be best or a new thread in Need Help.

As far as voting Redman goes, it's mainly due to the fact that Redman has been listed as co-starter the entire preseason in conjunction with Tomlin flat out saying he was resting Redman as a precaution because he knows what he can do, and needs to see more from Dwyer and co.

    Just a hunch I guess.

    I voted for Redman.

Isaac Redman will be the Steelers' starter while Le'Veon Bell (foot) is sidelined.
Bell isn't expected back until Week 3 or 4 at the earliest. That leaves the Steelers with the unholy quartet of Redman, Jonathan Dwyer, LaRod Stephens-Howling and Felix Jones. Although Redman has been nursing a stinger, he's a coaching staff favorite and the most reliable option. Dwyer and whoever wins the change-of-pace job will also see work as part of a committee. It's a low-upside situation for fantasy owners. Redman had plenty of chances last year, but managed just 410 yards and two touchdowns on 110 carries (3.72 YPC). Aug 27 - 12:20 PM

    I had to vote "other"...
Because I feel it WOULD be Bell, if healthy, which I just don`t think he will be(unfortunately)...
Also, I`m curious if Tomlin would list "co-starters" Dwyer and Redman, as he has on the preseason depth chart with Bell/Redman.. LOL!
I just don`t see how Howlings or Jones could be considered starters...
Valuable situational backs? Definitely, but not who you want carrying the rock the bulk of the game.
If I was FORCED to pick one, I would say the coaching staff has more faith in Redman, and I don`t think his injury is enuff to keep him out of week one.
Personally, I`ve leaned towards Redman as well, based on past performances when healthy...
However, Dwyer has certainly made the most of his recent chances, and made it clear, he`s not going out without a fight.
Shame Red hasn`t been able to answer recently with that "stinger"...
I really think all 3 are decent backs. Bell MAY have more potential, but I can only base that on college, and what I`ve heard from camp this year...
If I was coach, I would start Redman, assuming he`s healthy, and it`s really only a "stinger"... But he would be on a short leash, before I had more looks at Dwyer, until Bell becomes healthy...
:facepalm:Damn, looks like more of that "runningback by commitee", that I only realized was a bad idea, after they tried it last year...

Ok. I'll go and vote for Dwyer. I just had to vote for Dwyer because I just agree with him on the issues. Oh wait that's something different.... LOL.

The one thing that would make me say Redman if I were going to would be the fact that Dwyer fumbled in the preseason.

If everyone is healthy I would pick Dwyer. I haven't seen enough of the rookie yet to make a determination on him. LSH is a good change of pace back and also our returner along with Jones. I would go with Dwyer, Redman, Bell, LSH and Jones as far as depth. At least until I can see what Bell can do.

I went redman. I don't think they will have a clear cut # 1 guy all year though. similar to OLB, I think it will be a rotation. I think it depends on what formations they open up with against different teams.

the way Colbert still talks about his disappointment of the run game last year, one of dwyer or redman won't be here. I still think dwyer is the odd man out. don't ask why, I don't know. LOL

it all comes down to keeping 4 TE's that rob an extra spot and I don't think spaeth is worth it but it is what it is. I think it all depends on how Johnson looks and when heath can come back.

Dwyer, he's the only one that has shown any durability.

Redman has been shelved for a reason,IMO thats to be the starter,he only had a stinger and was cleared for play 2 weeks ago.

He says he is quicker and he knows the position the best of all .
