Allen has come up big here in the fourth quarter.

Sean McDermott may have to draw the plays in crayon for Allen, but he is one tough SOB running the ball

This is a no-brainer. You let the no- brain QB sneak and win the game.

Don't need to matchup as long as the Steelers can run the ball and control the clock.

I have to admit I have a bit of a soft spot for the Bills, so I’m bummed the Steelers drew them. I’d much rather have seen the Steelers play the Chiefs.

To be honest I think the Bills are a tougher matchup as well. The Chiefs really aren’t great at this point.

I think many fans don't realize that the Chiefs aren't nearly as good as they have been the last few years. The offensive line is flawed, especially at tackle, so they often have trouble protecting Mahomes. He has one wide receivers who he can rely on, Rice. The rest either can't get open, can't catch the ball consistently, or both. Their defense is still very good, but the team is vulnerable.

Allen is also good for 2-3 turnovers a game.

If they do that they will be vulnerable over the top if they bring him down. They have put together some good coverage schemes to protect against that. Will be interesting chess match. Allen likes the big play and we fear to the point of being nickel and dimed down the field all the way back to Lebeau days so we have to prevent the big deep play but avoid the death by thousand cuts as well. Gonna be a very hard game for us if your offense doesn't control the time of possession. We cant start slow and have several 3 and outs or that could be a disaster.

That is why I suggested more three-safety looks. Put Porter on Diggs, Fitzpatrick on Kincaid, man up everywhere else with Rowe or Kazee deep.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of zone to try to keep Allen's scrambling in check. Maybe go with some zone blitzes. Miami had success at times with aggressive blitzes last night even though their pass rush had been severely crippled by injuries.

Yes they did, then Buffalo got smart and their TE realized immediately break off his route turn inside for Allen to quickly dump it. Zone worries me as we have had problems turning guys over to the next defender and had huge holes and gave up big plays right in the middle when JPJ turned over his guy. We will have to go with man and hope we can shut down diggs. IF the TE goes off we will have problems. If Allen gets impatient and turns the ball over that helps but I have feeling he may have learned his lesson last night and since it just happened the coaches will emphasize that I believe.

Agreed, the Bills have been such a sad sack franchise in the playoffs for years that a part of me roots for them to win it all some time. I also see them as the only AFC team that can stop the Ravens from getting to the Super Bowl.

2 hot teams, Steelers and Bills, facing each other, while Mia and KC are both slumping. One hot team will be eliminated while a slumper will advance. Stinks it worked out that way
