If its about money is sign Wallace. If its about depth I'll sign one of the texans back ups because they have won. But id rather give the money to Wallace.

To spend money on a guy that sees maybe a game or 2 because a 2 time Super Bowl winning quarterback goes down, as he does, for a game maybe 3 at max,( I ask you to look it up) over a guys with 30 snaps a game?? You're nuts.

Depth is great but I'll take 6, i believe, Tds half way through the year.

Im guessing he says teams NEVER trade within divisions,,,,So Browns whould never trade McCoy to STEELERS....Im trying to say that teams will trade within the same division when it benefits both.It has been done many times before. That is the point I am trying to make.Perhaps not so well.

I thought we would have drafted a quarterback and said goodbye to Batch or Lefty. Definitely seen this coming. We need a young backup.

Wallace can hit the road and take his stone hands with him. I'm sick of him and don't want him here anymore. Get us a guy that'll play with some heart and let that bum go get his overpayment from an idiot like Jerry Jones because the Rooney's are not stupid enough to pay that moron $100 million.

LOL. I don't have his jersey and never will have. I mean I liked him earlier in his career but it's becoming more and more clear to me that he's just exactly what Mike Tomlin called him and that's a "One Trick Pony". What's your opinion of him? Is he worth what they're paying Ben? I'm amazed at the people that defend this guy. He doesn't play tough and hard nosed football. He just wants to catch his deep routes and thinks that's worth $100 million? Gimme a break!

I think we should have traded him before the draft for Kolb.....Send worthless Wallace to Az for Kolb and a 3rd...

Well I'm glad to see you want him gone. I REEEEEALLY hope the Rooney's will let him walk. I think the ONLY way they keep him is for a HUGE discount. We also need a good backup. I wanted us to get Colt McCoy and let Lefty walk. I'll tell you something else too. These people that are pounding the the pay Wallace drum need to be forced to watch that Rats game over and over and over because if we tie all our cap money up in him and don't spread it through the roster that crap you saw the other night is gonna become par for the course. Because how can we have any depth at ANY position when we have to give all our money to ONE guy? We'll never have a solid backup if we have to bring in guys for the vet minimum just to keep that bum Wallace happy.

Ill take a "BUM" that scores the biggest TD of the night. The struggles happen, in this age of football you can't have a 1 and a 2 receiver, you need a 1A and a 1B.

    Roddy White
    Julio Jones

That team is built for regular season wins.

That's all well and good until somebody starts asking for $100 million dollars. Pop quiz! Who is the ONLY player in Steelers HISTORY to get $100 million dollars? Now I'm sure you know the answer. Now just ask yourself this. Does Mike Wallace have as much value as Ben Roethlisberger? When you put it in that perspective I think it's pretty obvious that Wallace is asking for WAY to much. The Rooney's offered him $50 million and he said no. I'm not sure I want a guy on my team that would turn down $50 million. And in case you didn't know this he is asking for Fitzgerald money but he doesn't have Fitzgerald numbers. Also Fitz will catch what you throw him. He's not a "ONE TRICK PONY". If Wallace wants to develop his ball skills, route running, and versatility then he can ask for more. But as long as he's just the "deep threat" in a system that doesn't really go for that style anyway he would be better served to go somewhere else and just get his paycheck. I'm sure BA would love to have him in Indy. And if that's the case I say don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Also I don't know what game you were watching but Mike Wallace DIDN'T score ANY td the other night. As a matter of fact he didn't get his feet in on the biggest td of the night. I know that should have been a running play but the fact is that if you want $100 million you need to get both feet in.

I'm with you. I think AB and Sanders are more than ample for Haley's system. If KC wanted to give us Bowe for Wallace I'd be fine with that too. We need more versatile guys to really make Haley's system bloom.

wallace will hit the free agency , i 'm not even sure we will make him an offer since he could say could be offensive .he will find some team that will overpay him,he is already playing scared to be injurie (pretty evident on the last play he touched the ball on his feet)

most don't consider the change in qb to be a big deal, and every wr should just preform the same way with whomever is throwing the ball. hate to say it , but it just doesn't work that way.

when they talk about being on the same page , most people thinks that happens overnight. not so. ben and these receivers practice and practice and practice this stuff, ben knows where they are going and when they are going there. what shoulder to throw it at, when to put it low and to the outside, when he's going to do certain things for the way a defender is lined up on him. it just doesn't flow that smooth in a couple of practices during the week.

mike is a good player when we have the qb to put him in situations to succeed. we don't exactly have that going right now and won't until ben is back and has worn the rust off. because right now he's not getting those reps either and won't for a good while. this isn't the receivers faults.

no i don't think mike is worth 10 mil a year either. now if we had the cap space , i'd say keep him, but we just don't. we will get a comp pick in 2014. wallace gave his lowball year to them.
