Boy, that didn't take long. Wonder if the Chargers' plane even landed before he got the offer.

Fans and sports radio here wanted to run him out of town like a common pygmy anyway, so they're happy!

Keith Butler will be the new DC of the Titans.

Mierda! Is this confirmed, or speculation?

    Definitely speculation. Doubtful too, IMO.

    It's confirmed speculation. ;)

I did did read somewhere that Whiz will have Butler at the top of his list. Why wouldn't he? He knows him well and saw firsthand what a good coach he is. I don't think Butler is willing to wait around on DL any longer and who could blame him?

Shocked he didn't take the Lions offer, you would think that is a much more attractive job.

Yea. It's kind of shocking but if I had a choice of living in beautiful Tennessee Vs. that Crapville Detroit Michigan I'm picking the south every time. Money would be a secondary issue for certain.

A lot of people are surprised that he took the Titans Job over the Lions job, I don't think the Titans were as bad as you think, if Locker had been kept healthy I think their season would have turned out differently. Once Rogers is healthy for next year, it's going to be tough to take the NFC north away from the packers. It be easier to win in the AFC south.

Detroit is just plain nasty. Good move.

I think it's a bad move. Goal is to win championships, not find a pretty city to live in. Besides, only have to reside there for 6 months of the year and half of those 6 months you're on the road a lot. I'm also sure Whiz can afford to avoid living in the slums.

Tennessee and Detroit had the exact same records, hard to argue one is better setup than the other. I'd think having a prima donna like Stafford would be a negative (what QB sits in on a head coach interview). No thanks, it's a good move. He may be on the road during the season, but his family stays home (I'd bet the wife had a little input into location).
