Whiz fired from Cards

You guys think he'll get consideration for a HC spot this soon? I think his handling of the QB situation this year and the rumors of him losing the locker room will linger for a few years before his name surfaces again for a HC vacancy. He's a good coach, no doubt, and may need time to reflect on his body of work in AZ and prepare for round 2.

He may get a look from Jax as that team is kind of built to fit his style of throwback play, but I think most teams may want to go to more of an open attack. I wouldn't be surprised if Caldwell leaves Bal to become a HC and Whiz becomes their OC (or the Jets OC, as I mentioned before).

I also heard that it was reported that the Jets may have an interest in Norv Turner as their OC should he be canned in SD.

Well, Tomlin's defense finished #1 in the league, soo . . . I'd be elated to swap out Haley for Whiz.

 

So 16 games under Haley... including 3 games with your 2nd and 3rd string QBs, receivers that drop easy catches and RBs that fumble the ball like it's their job.... and you're ready to kick Haley to the curb?

I said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again. Thank God this team isn't run by the fans.

I guess the point I was trying to make is that I've never heard anyone talk about a coordinator's record, only a head coach's.
