Which was the Steelers biggest post-season upset loss?

The loss to Denver and Tebow? The loss to Jacksonville at home? Others?

Minnesota was destroyed by Franco in Super Bowl IX.

That wouldn't have changed in the rematch.

I understand that but nothing is a given
Yes the defense was out of this world and even the Rooney Family say they would have won the Super Bowl that year
    But,
Like I said, the Steelers did a good job selling a story and quite a few folks here were suckered into believing it!

That first quarter blowout at home vs the Browns during the 2020 postseason will be hard to top.

The Browns were massively weakened by COVID and their HC wasn’t even at the game. It was absolutely inexcusable to get walloped like that.

For me the AFCCG loss to San Diego was the worst. Off the rails bad. Second may be the loss to the Browns after the 2020 season. I need to think about that one in the context of other bad upset losses.

The 1976 loss to the Raiders? The Raiders were 14-1 heading into that game and playing at home. They were a good enough team that, if not for the Steelers, they may have been the dynasty of the 70’s. Far cry from that lucky, mediocre Chargers team.

And no Gerela. Our defense carried us a long way that season but this loss wasn't a huge shock.

Interestingly enough I saw the Steelers were 4 1/2 point favorites on the road. Now that’s respect when an 11-4 team is favored on the road vs. a 14-1 team.

Charger game was a stunner! Browns in 2020 not a surprise, given the way we were playing at end of season

The Jacksonville loss. Ben was still in his prime, we had AB, Bell, and a defense still very capable of stopping the Blake Bortells led offense. The fact Tomlin and some of his guys mouthed off about looking past the jags hurts even more. Just showed how inept our coaching staff is. Im surprised they're still around.

The 3 game losing streak vs. the AFC West the following season should have cinched it. If not that, then the utter embarrassment vs. the Browns after the 2020 season should have absolutely, positively ended it. And yet, here we are….

I’ll throw in the loss to the Titans in 03

Mainly because it was such a good game, and the ending was heartbreaking.
